yeh i know you would say that (PCIe vs USB)
but i think i know what to expect already
erm, is it me or somehow your explanation contradicts it self
Wifi = cant reach full speed (imho AC = still Wifi just different class/frequency on 5Ghz)
AC device / connecting 5Ghz wifi = achieve full speed
or you trying to say 2.4ghz single band wont reach full speed but possible if its dualband + conneting to 5ghz.
or wifi cant reach at all so stick to LAN for prawning.
sorry you got me confused

Yeah encountered this when enabled the QoS priority and also the anti spoofingcheck. didnt know which one triggered it, so i disabled em both again and restarted the router. got back my speed again
I mean Wi-Fi 2.4GHz cannot reach accurate speed.
You're right that AC supported device connected to 5GHz will get accurate speed and 2.4GHz won't get accurate speed.
LAN or Wi-Fi 5GHz can get constant speed, depends which wan you use. Only supported AC devices can get constant speed.
Sorry to confuse you.
You are able to get accurate speed after disable QoS?
