Yesterday i asked them on FB if its ori and you can see today he still reply me saying its ori even after my whole ordeal yesterday. Obviously you can see the boss got no guilt and will cheat anyone as long there is profit.

By the way John Ooi did confirm with me its ori on the phone itself before i bought yesterday if anyone was wondering.

I've got nothing against clones as when i started off and there was only the kayfun, ithaka which costs an arm and a leg, i used clones as well. What i hate is this scumbags selling clones and claiming its ori plus at ori price.

Agree with you. Personally I don't mind clones as well, but tell the truth up front la right?

This one is knowingly selling clones = claim its ori + put ori price. That is downright cheating.

I thought this John Ooi is a stand-up guy in business and can be trusted before? I think a lot of people knew him from the car-boot era right?

Guess business too bad liao, need to find other ways to earn extra profit, or business too good too big doesn't care about customers anymore or self-reputation.

Thanks for the heads-up bro, will avoid buying from this shop. Unless this John Ooi fella step up and clear his name up, make some fb post or some shit to clear things up but I doubt he will do so.

Went back to Vapor Hub Sunway to switch my Avocado 24 for a new set.
Opened up the new set, tried swinging the top fill open. What do you know? Bloody thing is stuck shut  dry.gif

And they still insists it's authentic. The balls on them man.

Asked for a refund, rejected straight away.
I settled with a Wotofo Serpent Mini and topped up another RM30 for a Nitecore i4. Made absolute sure it was authentic before I left.

Staying away from Vapor Hub from now on.

Makes me wonder whether my IPV D3 is a clone.
*
You gotta make sure that i4 is authentic as well lol. Can't be too careful these days sweat.gif

Now ain't that the dream. Too bad it's false advertising. Sony and LG have been making batteries since way back and they still haven't or rather can't make anything with that spec, so no. Avoid at all cost. Best case, its a rewrap like those MOJOs 40 amp batteries.
*
True that, we can't just get both. That battery probably is a rewrap of any existed batteries or lower grade batteries that doesn't passed the standard of their manufacturer so it goes to the bin because their manufacturer doesn't feel comfortable of stamping their brand name to those type of batteries. Then, these supposedly "rejected" batteries is sold and bought to these company and sold under their own wrap using their own exaggerated spec.

The cost to make new batteries alone is gonna cost billions of dollars. There is no way they can simply produce new battery with spec just like that.

Again, these are the recommended batteries from Mooch himself. Take it or leave it. I trust this guy alone on batteries.

This LG HD2, LG HD2C, LG HD4 is not bad at all. Sanyo UR18650NSX is not bad too, but these batteries are so hard to find here.

Just got my Beco VeloV2:

Decent workmanship out of the box, a few "adjustments" quickly ironed out much of the issues I had with it lol.

How does it perform? No idea... still puasa-ing so haven't actually built anything on it yet lol.

But airflow wise I think I can get by with the Fodi driptip and the minimum airflow "robot smileyface".
*
that was fast. Did you bought it at altSmo too?

Not sure about physical shop but saw this on lelong. From the picture it looks like a good quality grub screw, I could be wrong though..not sure how is the quality of "black alloy steel" compared to stainless steel that we're accustomed to, dunno the difference blush.gif Not sure about the diameter but the length is there, maybe you can PM the seller and ask him?

What is your previous tank? what is your style of vaping, direct lung inhale or mouth to lung inhale? Maybe others can suggest you based on your preference if you could give us a little bit more info on that.

Anyway, are this gonna be the moonshot killer? pretty handsome looking tank similar to moonshot. But this deck is easier to build on compared to the moonshot

Looks good, just saw the review on RIP trippers.

Will it has leaky issue or dry burn? Also do you have to empty the tank to build? We had really bad experience dealing with goblin mini v2  cry.gif
*
FYI, It doesn't have juice flow control like any other taller RTA's out there, but you don't get any leaking or dry hit as long as you're wicking it properly like any other RTA's I supposed.

Not sure whether you have to empty the tank to remove the deck, the glass section held by only the o-ring on the top part there IINM. I guess you can remove it with caution but don't take my word for it.

Plot tickens laugh.gif

Basically, it started from this Sigelei 213 REVIEW by DJLsb Vapes.

Then, to THIS post on DJLsb Vapes website and to this REDDIT thread.

Now, we have this "professional" respond by Sigelei and one of their employee (Sales Manager) as well laugh.gif :

Finally back at workbase, now can start building on the VeloV2.

user posted image

This time trying something new besides my olde straight micro duos. Nothing too fancy though lol.

Now how the heck do I wick this thing? Short tails into the juice well?
*
What's your twisted coil diameter if I may ask? I think you just wick it normally.

Some prefer to tuck the wick to just touching the base of the deck, some prefer longer wick as long as the below of the coil is clear for airflow to flow through, you should be good IMO.

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Jun 13 2016, 09:38 PM)
Those are 2x26awg khantal at 2.5mm according to my coilmaster, 7/8 wraps each for 0.4Ω‎ (says the VTC mini).

Thanks for the tips. Ended up wicking with fluffy short tails touching the base of the juicewells. Using Kendo Gold.

Vapes good so far at near minimum cyclops-only AFC, comparable flavour to the 'Cado as far as I could tell (using the Fodi driptip) so no qualms so far. Vapour density is also good, but of course not really "nano cloudsbro" due to the setup.

If anybody comes up with a slamcap for this thing, the flavour would probably be even better-er. Using *any* of the top airflow holes completely wrecks flavour though, as one could probably expect.

So yeah, I'm liking the Beco VeloV2 so far. Decent quality (my posts aren't exactly perfectly straight lol, but I can live with it), does everything it says on the tin and damn easy to build on and work with.

The notched cap is awesome in making the cyclops align perfect with the coils, something you need to fiddle with on the 'Cado. The 510 adapter is also great, with shallow threads so unscrewing to drip is very easy (considering it's gripping the Fodi DT pretty well). Of course, this is irrelevant if you like chuffcaps - you can drip straight with the one provided.

Cons? Well, like I said, my posts aren't perfectly straight, and this is AFTER I messed around with the PEEK insulator to make it better (it was awesomely out of whack before). But that's about it.

Considering it's a cheapo clone (and that the above are the extent of my qualms), I can say that the Beco Velo2 is a great buy - especially with all those spare screws.

Mmmm, screws.

And no, the screws didn't fit the 'Cado if anybody's wondering.
*
The posts really crooked when you got them?
