Hi thanks for replying but I saw on some forum say that rx200have some bad wiring and it need 3 battery tat mean I will need more budget for battery n charger n it abit annoying when put it in pocket because of it size PS: I don't really know it size but everyone were saying it was big so I assume it xD
But I found almost no problem on internet about ipv 3 li and I am just normal vaper so I don't really need those update for ni or ti those thing I will just stick with my kanthal XD and it is really so important for firmware upgrade?
I was still thinking to buy ipv li or others sad.gif
Any suggestions it would be helpful biggrin.gif
PS: if anyone interested in eleaf 100w or wismec presa 40w can pm psps: if u know to fix mod I will sell my loosed usb smok m80 plus  too and a subtank mini without a rba (I broke the skru sad.gif ) onli cod in nilai inti because I have no transport sad.gif

Are you looking for 2 batt mod specifically? RX200 is great, no doubt but I don't really recommend it other then for the battery life. For a pocket friendly mod, I'd have to go with D2 and D3, but it's a single batt mod, or IPV4s and the new IPV5. Cuboid weighs almost the same as RX200 so that's a no. Extra features are nice but optional.

IPV3 li is considered outdated in the market. IP4s is the newer, "improved" ver of IPV4 and IPV3 li.

Have been reading about SS coils lately and can only really find benefits over kanthal. Is there a reason why Kanthal is more widely used?
*
Cheaper, flexible, durable and comes in abundance. Same reason why mech mods is still popular.

Kanthal wasn't made for vaping rather they found it can be used for vaping so of course there's a catch somewhere. SS just got popular recently but Kanthal was already tested. There's still some concerns over SS coils at the moment so you'd understand if people aren't willing to change.

Hi thanks for all the reply biggrin.gif
I interested in ipv li because I can't find any problems on Google beside the cover thing (I not sure what is it)
I am quite interested in rx200 too but when I search on Google wismec rx 200 problem than I am worried and it fat so I just assume it will look weird when u put it in pocket
How about koopor 200w? (But also found quite many problems on internet xD)
I am looking for a wattage more than 100w with minimum problem and cheap xD
PS I have a eleaf 100w but it resistance is .15 so I'm gonna sell it xD
Anyway really appreciate all replied me
*
laugh.gif yeah the people here are a helpful bunch. Must've missed your first post, else I'd say go for it. Ipv3li might be "old" but it's a decent peice of hardware. But try searching for PakTam vapor movement in FB first since they usually offer the lowest price, or VaporHub also on FB. Me, I did had my eye on IPV4s a while back. Same with IPV5 but RX200 was more suited for me.

Not quite a fan of the boxy form factor tho but take a look at Sigelei 150w and Sigelei Fuchai as well. No harm in looking around, right? Build quality, Sigelei is one of the most durable, better quality mod even compared to IPVs.

I wan a mod wif good spec and cheap and cool and can daily use without any problems that last for few years xD

Guy where should I post if I wan to sell all my old mod or tank?
I posted here but have been removed I think xD

Guy can I make juice without sweetener? I worried it will taste weird without sweeterner
*
There's a vaper group, VMOG on FB that most people trade and sell their stuff. Seems quite active as of now.

Sweetener is optional in DIY. Most flavouring stands out on its own. Hell, even straight VG is sweet enough for me.

QUOTE(jk46831 @ Apr 22 2016, 05:44 PM)
But but.... I bought my flavor some random bakery supplier and I am worried xD
*
Occasional candy maker here. You do not want to use that in your mix. Store bougt VG is acceptable but PG and flavouring is a definite no-no. Most pastry use oil based flavouring. You're gonna be inhaling them so better to get them from a reputable vendor. I also use some of my DIY mix for cupcakes and stuff. Minus the nicotine of course.

so guys...
basically,if my brew already taste not that great, even i steep for month it gonna just improve like maybe 10% better right?
or steeping could actually make it 50% better or even complete different flavor?
*
Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. If it suck then it'll still suck even after a year of steeping. My advice, use a cookbook or learn from thousands of recipes online first. After you could make it as it supposed to be, then start making your own recipe.

Well most local juice have up to 5% sucralose so you're one step away from making your own local grade "premium" juice. Just grab a sharpie and scribble the word "premium" all over the bottle!

I should've grab Theorem instead of Tsunami. Still not here btw, but other than the coil, the RTA itself is amazing.

Yeap RTA itself is great. My first top coil RTA. I gotta stop following this thread...cant afford anymore gadget poisons.
But very satisfied this buy.
*
laugh.gif but it's so cozy here!

Think I'm gonna skip Theorem tho. Just found out the airflow is "set and forget" style. The SS Notch coils also holds no value to me since well, they're SS. I like the thick warm vape you'd get from kanthal but eh, to each his own.

Also Avocado 24 is up for preorder on FT! 39 days! Woo, effing-ho. I bet my sweet ass it'll be outdated by the time it gets here but I'm gonna go for it. Bellus was the last RTA I've bought so I'm due for an upgrade

Currently waiting for my Tsunami RDA from FT. No problem on my part, as far as the norm goes.

Oh also FT will have a 15% off storewide

Code is gonna be 'laborday', activates on May 1st US Central time.

Whelp, guess I'll be jumping on the Avocado 24 preorder train by then.

Hi guys, new vapers here. hehe.

I noob use IPV V2 + subtank only~ I want to ask, where ar to buy online for the maintainence stuff, like coil, kapas, etc~~~

Plus any flavour recommendation that I can buy online?
*
Well there's Ono, Legadgets, Vape Brothers and a whole assortment of vape shop on FB.

For juices, there's always Juice Machine.net. I don't do recommendations since taste is subjective.

Pico is okay: Fiddly to work with and leaks, but gives out nice flavour if built right. Kinda like my GobMini but with more PEEK.

You MTL or STL? Flavour or cloud chaser? Single or multi-coil? Helps to know these things to narrow down the shortlist. Nowadays new tanks pop up like bloody mushrooms lol.

As for what's new... New fat Griffin? Corolla?
*
The new trends seems to be the Genny/RTDA hybrid. Wismec Theorem, Boreas, Avocado and Pico are getting their limelight at least for now. Ceramic tanks are a duds. Just skip them.

I'm gonna get me a Avocado 24 myself. Its what the original Avocado should've been in the first place.

any option for people like me dont want to recoil and want to use OCC...

which tank should i pick and what volt? what type of occ? 1.2? 0.5?
*
Definitely check out the Uwell Crown. I have RDAs, RTAs and RBAs but I still grab my Crown as a travel kit. Great flavour off the OCC, the RBA section, ehh not so much.

RBA? Do the dual stacked vertical coil. Crazy flavor
*
laugh.gif It's a pain in the ass to get it right, almost as hard as pulling off a 26g shotgun build in em, but I agree on the flavour. Gets the tank way too hot after a few pulls tho. Used 3.5 mm coils for the horizontal build.

But now I exclusively use the Crown with the OCC as a travel buddy.

Any of them worth checking out for an MTL/RLer like me? Most tanks now apparently cater more for the cloudzbro crowd, with hell airy draws even with AFC dialed down.

I know Geek Vape's been packaging single coil adapters/airflow reducers for their tanks since the old 'Cado, so that's worth noting, but the new fat 'Cado and fat Griffin is too big for my cute lil Pico (mod).

And the Pico (tank) is pretty much a repackaged Taifun with AFC, PEEK and the piss-orange plastic tank... so it should be okay for MTL (relatively lol).

Though I rather my tank part being made out of Pyrex rather than piss-plastic... and my chimney from metal rather than PEEK... hence my GobMini2.

As for ceramic tanks, you mean the hybrids with ceramic parts like the Moradin or the full ceramic paloozas like the Simba?

Also, any thoughts about the Notchcoil? Next step or transient fad? Personally I read "Ni legs" and I run TF away lol... not a fan of Ni in my vape, even when not part of the coils.
*
Very true indeed. It seems almost everything gets bigger holes in them that'll put my exes to shame in the past couple of years.

I know the authentic Pico checks out all the point you've listed but no way in hell I'm dropping that kinda dime on a vape gear. Goblin mini v2 was on my wishlist before I figured out the wicking problem so I'm just gonna skip it. MTL is a niche in vaping and since vaping itself is a niche, its a double doozy to find something that gets it right. But there's cubis, magister, zephyr, hurricane, avocado, pico, izi, gamma, bunch of others that names escapes me right now.

Coil-less tank like the Atlus. Great concept but poor execution. I think Notch Coils are just a passing fad, like a fart in the wind. It hits hard and fades as hard as it hits. Not really a fan of SS coils TBH. Too finicky to work with. Ni was great but I prefer good ol kanthal any day of the week.

Question to the DIYers, is it advisable to mix flavours from the same manufacturers or it is a non-factor??
*
It's fine, better to actually. Some flav are better than others and unless you're using oil based flavouring, then it's all fair game. I have a mix that uses 2-3 different brands of flavouring meself

Edit: Me millionth dollar! Guess me pirate tounge slip out for a moment

Hi sir,

Yep it's true, the flavor itself is nice smell.. but when really taking a puff.. omg.. it's plain tasteless..
*
That's mostly because cake flavouring is already diluted and weak concentrate in general. Yes you could get a whole array of flavouring and stuff for pocket change but there's always a catch with cheap things.

Try this if you don't mind;
Strawberry milk
-Strawberry (ripe) 6%
-vbic 4%
- malted milk 2%
- sweet cream 1%

All TFA (The Flavor Apprentice) which cost 10 shmeckles per 10ml but at least you'll get your moneys worth. Or if you like simple Strawberry and Cream just look up Mustard Milk online. Super simple yet super great. And only 2 flavouring as well.

Guys I need some serious advice fod my cotton. Let me state my set up first

GEMINI rta 40 watts at 0.45 ohm. Using my own brew juice

Juice is fruity flavour
70/30 vg/pg 3mg nic
Sucralose 6 drops @ 25ml
Cooling agent 6 drops @ 25ml
Flavouring 15% @ 25ml
So my problem is my cotton, they dont last a full day at all. My juice hole always getting black real quick and then I will be getting dry hit. Cotton got real black in less than a day.

Dry hit is not because I pack the cotton too much, it is due to my cotton broke apart already, when I use the tweezer to get my cotton out from coil I didnt even need to put effort, slight pull cotton break into half.

Is getting really annoying as I need to change cotton.

Is it because I put too much sucralose or what?

Do help me if you know a thing or 2. Im getting very frustrated as I havent finish my work in the day and went out without tools suddenly Im getting dry burn already due to not wicking anymore,
*
I'm gonna need a pic of your build first. Cotton break usually caused by overstuffing thus leaving the wicks dry and prone to breakage. I'm pushing 50w and it wicks just fine with 70 VG

Good day grandma and thanks for the reply.

Ill get some pic after I got home. Anyways I can assure that im not over stuffing and theres nth dry inside my cotton. I tried less cotton and it actually break apart faster. Is like the cotton stop holding to each other after sometimes whicb is normal but all happened in 1 day is too much for me.

Oh btw im using koh gen do organic cotton directly from japan.
*
And here I am using cheap ol Muji I bought a couple of years back like a peasant... But that aside, it could be uneven firing with your coils. If everything else fails, just simply rebuild em. I got 7 wraps 24g kanthal and it's all peachy on my side.

Funny thing is, I'm also using a D2 right now. This thing has been abused more than an 14 year old Asian hooker by the army base but it still work.

Sure there's no stepdown but I never vape below 30 watt. Gotta get dem good ol nicotine in the system ASAP

ascentic Sorry mate almost missed you there. Forgot how to "lowyat" after a short hiatus I guess.

It's TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

A personal favourite of mine. Super versatile and easy to work with. Needs a bit of creamy goodness? VBIC. Want to make some ice cream? Obviously VBIC. Mash em, boil em, grill em kinda thing.

You'll get better flavor too for no extra cost.
*
laugh.gif I did, and still do to try and cut back the nic once in a while. But cutting back made me bitchy (read: more) than usual. It's my Xanax basically and I'm fine with that.

Flavors on the other hand, can't seem to get enough with the new stuff Vaperstuff brought in. My cook book is all grown up now.

should i dismantle and clean it and would it work?

Nope, happened to both of mine too. It's a factory defect and that's why we have D3 now. Doesn't really bother me that much since its barely half a second delay. Just fire it before taking a toke. Make sure you get your wick right first tho
