at least it has to be on par with S6 ... not worst when we pay premium for it.

Seriously I still getting used to it for this compact size. The main problem for me as a S4 user is size upscale, more weight, much narrower bezel to hold (almost no place to hold the phone without touching the edge), more slippery. My palm size is kind of small size compare to majority, so got difficulty to hold it securely...furthermore I insist naked.

Usually last time I buy phone just sign plan ....recently I feel not worth it...because data plan are getting cheaper......Any recommand on which market place LYN is trusted ? Thank I also want sell off my S5...

Going from 16mp to 12mp, its expected that there'll be a loss of resolution.

My beef is just the processing... Samsung should offer an image setting to change sharpness, saturation, contrast, noise reduction and saved file size.

Honestly, with our bare eyes, we cant really notice the difference in quality btw the S6 Edge and S7 Edge.

Too bad I can't make any direct comparison (same object) between S6/S6edge with S7Edge.
But I had viewed on PC
I still prefer S7e output than those two phones (which me and my mom used to owned it) for rear cam. Nevertheless s7e performance also not really leap compared to s6/s6e. For front cam I just feel both equally good.
To say we are (those who prefer s7e than S6/S6e) delusional, perhaps so but the percentage and professional reviewers with our opinion are higher than with your opinion. Thus, you get my point already.
Anyway, because we are human, human have many different preferences and this relates to eyes and perception, thus beauty lies on each person eyes.

My neighbor told me SenQ or SenHeng have higher trade in value... His Note3 can trade-in rm800 instead of Samsung's rm650...

I appreciate the camera in terms of speedy and accurate focus in almost all lighting condition. At least now at night it is much more usable. I don expect it will give me very good noise performance compare with my DSLR but I don see it is too bad either. When I using PRO mode and capture to RAW, I always try to lower the ISO to below 200, I don't care the RAW captured is under expose, what I want is low noise and minimal highlight cripple, I can always use lightroom to increase the exposure and reduce noise. Anyway, for those who know what ISO-shutter-aperture was, try to use PRO mode to capture during night, as I found the auto mode tends to bump up the ISO to a very high level and over expose, a lot of grains on the photo.

Did your monitor calibrated? If not then what you viewed at your monitor is also kind of delusional only.

Alots of professional monitor that cater for full RGB and adobe colour space that can easily cost you >RM2000, without that kind of monitor and calibration, I won't come into conclusion that what I saw is accurate.

I believe many of us are just point and shoot. Not so much into the details.

For me, it is the overall package. Buy a smartphone. Not a dedicated camera. As long it had decent camera and can do most of the job well like, browsing, messaging, calls, etc, all is good. Overall performance is good, able to handle the current task throw at it.

At the end, one product cannot satisfy everyone...

No point to argue if you think 3k smartphone camera have to be in professional level, right? Since you are photographer, you should know 3k only can buy you an entry level DSLR.

Be fair bro, 3k you want a professional level camera, then I will say I want professional DAC in it as well, other will say they want professional calibrated screen as well. This will never ending.

From what I saw, your expectation is too high (un-realistically high) for a phone camera, while our user demand here is just a mobility yet usable camera.
