I am thinking to request the developer to change master room's wooden floor to
tile to prevent white ant.

Is there anybody here wants to change to tile also?

Hi,

I signed already yesterday. There is a whole team of lawyers & staffs there basically bringing the whole office there. They can amend the SPA and loan agreement on the spot if there is any error. Mine have error on both loan agreement and SPA. They correct it on the spot. No need to come 2nd time.

Me signing soon within this week.. no time to go yet

I think the developer will not convert tennis court to one of the facilities that
you mentioned.

Yes, I agree not many Malaysians are playing tennis.
So, why developer put a tennis court there?

I think a tennis court reflect a high class sport just like golf.

If convert it to a basketball court or badminton court, it will not make this condo
look like a high class condo.

Yes, tennis court is probably useless in Malaysia, but it means a high class symbol for the condo.

Just like some businessmen drive BMW & Mercedes Benz, most probably they do not concern
about the comfort of driving those luxury cars, but their main objective are to show to people they
are successful businessmen.

Lol.. is that true??
Is Abadi Indah @ Danau Desa considered a luxury condo? They have not just 1 but 2 or 3.. if no changes made to the tennis court after 20yrs happy.gif

Just imagine, comparing to a basketball court and a tennis court in a condo, which one looks
more high class?

Some more playing basketball is quite noisy, 12 basketball players compares to 2 tennis players,
which one is more noisy? Especially when a basketball bouncing to the ground, it is quite big noise.

Even Abadi Indah @ Danau Des does not have a basketball court.

We can only see basketball court and outdoor badminton court in low cost flat.
Agree or not?

Are you going to talk to the developer and ask them to change it to tile?

I will talk to the developer soon, if more people can make noise to request, then
the developer cannot tahan pressure then will agree to change to tile for us.

I do not want after move in then the laminated floor got problem, I think the most
secure way is to use tile. thumbsup.gif

I asked my salesman, why put laminated floor but not tile?

Salesman said because when using air-cond in master room, laminated floor will not
make feet cold.

But I think this does not make sense to me:
(1) I can lower the air-cond's cool level
(2) I usually wear slipper at home even without using air-cond

I want to change to tile before moving in

If the developer can change to tile for us, we have these benefits:

(1) Save our money, time, and energy
(2) To ensure all tiles are the same pattern/design in whole unit
(3) To prevent white ant in the future
(4) Tile will be more durable and tahan lazak
(5) One time change it to tile and no headache in the future, unless it suddenly broken
due to poor workmanship

I only can say laminated floor is just like a tennis court, it looks nice from out side but
no practical to use.

Like what you said, I do not think this laminated floor can last long, just like "bucket" wooden floor.

Better change it before moving in..

Ok, please add me as well. Although personally I like wood based flooring, it is difficult to maintain especially if renting out.

Thanks

Maybe most people do like the timber flooring. Or maybe they can't be bothered if it requires effort.

HI
Do you guys think the Tennis court facilities provide by developer is a deficiency?
Instead of Tennis court, convert it to Covered Multi-Purpose court with multiple usage like Tennis+Basketball+Badminton+etc court would add more value to the development selling points.

Realistically, how many Malaysian is playing Tennis ?  rclxub.gif

I'd reflected my suggestion to developer earlier, but i dunno whether developer care or not.  hmm.gif

Well I'm one of the purchaser C1 1004sf, suggest we may create a whatsapp group for all purchaser to share comments & get to know each others thumbup.gif

I support to convert to indoor badminton court or multi purpose hall.
If do like this, maintenance cost will be higher.

if not mistaken, it should be "number of unit of that property" divide "size of the land". Then you can get the number of unit per acre.

Bro, do you want to change your timber floor in your master's bed room to tile?
I am going to request the developer to do it for us at no charge.
