QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 18 2009, 11:38 AM) How did you diagnose the problem because of 3GB FUP? When i signed up my Maxis 3G, there is a clause abt the FUP @ 3GB BUT juz tat it is not implemented on this package yet, maybe......It could be the connection problem right? Please enlighten me because I'm now testing this Maxis package, if nothing happens I'll be a user soon. The other package, Maxis Wireless Broadband FUP is 2GB and 5GB and tat hav been implemented. Dun knoe why, If you wanna knoe why, ask maxis itself. I actually press them further and i got this answer. There is no Broadband Package in Malaysia tat gives UNLIMITED access as MCMC specified. Only the carrier/telco wan to implement it or not. And now u knoe why Maxis dun name this package wif the word BROADBAND I am still using Umobile ( FUP 5GB, not implemented yet |

QUOTE(ibnuasad @ Jun 19 2009, 12:40 PM) That's the speed you would expect in a 3G service. Essentially 3G = 48 kBps. With all ISP, the speed advertise is based on *best effort*...so you'd expect at least 70% of the advertised speed which is at least 33.6 kBps. totally agreedIn conclusion, there is *nothing* wrong with the speed that you're getting...we ALL should get that speed. Some of us are lucky that somehow we can exceed the 3G speed limit and get 3.5G instead. It may be related to tower signal strength & the number of people using Maxis in certain areas. ...I hope you can now *stop* bashing Maxis3G because Maxis *IS* providing the speed that they are suppose to for a 3G service This post has been edited by digilife: Jun 19 2009, 05:04 PM |

QUOTE(MX510 @ Jun 19 2009, 07:18 PM) Maxis representative just call me have to wait under 1 month for the next bills to generated . WTF ? usually when u lodge a rpt to MCMC, the MCMC guy/grul will call u first to confirm your case and in a day or two, the respective telco ( maxis ) will call you to chk with your writing to MCMC. then in a week or so, maxis will call u again to tell you the result. i made a rpt to MCMC not too long ago abt celcom.....the result favours me in the end... |

I'm a user of ZTE MF622. I'm still waiting for a modem from Nokia Siemens Networks, the place I am working now. and is the Modem fr NSN free or for testing purpose? wat actually is this NSN contributing to our Networking enviroment? thx |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 20 2009, 02:49 PM) Well, any more information I can't reveal. ------OT------It is the service provider that caps the users and it has nothing to do with hardware and infrastructure provider. Ya but too bad PD has only GPRS for it. open secret Siemens Network jv wif Nokia to provide hardware & infrastructure to develope the broadband needs of the boleland neards...... ofcourse there are players around but this NSN is one of them but it all boils down to one final strategic alliance, ie: "malaysia boleh" and u wanna knoe wat boleh means |

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Jun 22 2009, 07:01 PM) ZTE MF622 -- RM 320 now,Huawei E220 -- RM 250 Worth paying the extra RM70 for a device with the same function??? u use the left side of your brain to think......... e220 can be bought for as many as you wish in this forum, whereas mf622 is hardy a find on any thread nowadays....... moreover, users of both devices ady posted their comment abt them b4, finally, try juz e220 and use and u will find out later tat u SHOULD hav listen to uncle digilife earlier |
