Until I can find a suitable earphone IR blaster replacement, or any other phone with IR that can store a stylus..

I use the IR quite often like the pen.

Hi All, I need to buy a mid level phone for my daughter.

What’s the best online store for me to buy.

Since I’m out of the country and my daughter studies in a boarding school, should be a reliable store .

RM200 something you got low quality 480p with old MTK65xx, no light sensors, china spyware, small battery, slow charger.
what you want actually ? just to watch 720p HD video ?

2. Budget. - Cheap, range RM400 max (if any better spec but 2nd hand can get this price also acceptable)
3. Specs. - Android / Able to cater External SD Card
4. What you need in the phone - 5.5-6 inches screen for parents. Good enuff camera.

Yes, main purpose is to watch 720p videos, but also one that acts as spare phone in case primary phone kaput. The MTK65xx you mentioned caters only low quality 480p, so i'll pass. Any other suggestions? Or maybe a dedicated viode player that uses SD card you can recommend?

Want to upgrade from my old samsung j5 2016.

Currently my options are
1. Asus Zenfone max 4 pro
2. Xiaomi mi a1
3. Huawei 9 lite

Want to check other options too.

Get it from 11street(online), the best and cheapest option, you will get it around 2-5 days after you made the payment. I just got it yesterday. Pixel 2 XL 128GB.
