Will the following steps help? I haven't done COD with lazada.

1) Take photo of the parcel when arrived
2) Insist on opening the parcel
3) Take photo again in front of delivery person and any witnesses

4) If satisfied,
- Insist on receipt upon making payment
- Take photo of cash and receipt.

5) If not satisfied due to wrong item or missing item or damaged item
- then return the item and parcel to the delivery person
- Report to Lazada or Courier company depending on issue
- Keep your money
