Just wanna share my stories. So my careless relative bought kitchen appliances which worth more than RM700 each from 2.5 star(if not mistaken) seller from Lazada. Received both item, once plug in to use, both made pop sound, both RIP on first usage. So my relative sent the item back, one of the item already has been accepted and replacement will arrive 7-24 days(IIRC), the other item was returned due to the most ridiculous reason I'ever ever seen: not complete set because have no poly plastic inside(literally what it says on the return paper) when obviously the item's motor was defective in the first place, which of course has nothing to do with the poly plastic. Wasted like RM50 for the postage and this is how lazada quality control group treated their customer?
Ended up I had to sent email via my relative's account saying how I feel that there's a slight discrimination against "not so good with English" and Sarawakian. Nobody in the right mind would give such a stupid reason for rejecting the item. I reckon that Lazada quality control team expect that Sarawakian are all dumb or something? Who the heck would give such reason to reject the defective item? My relative told me that the poly plastic was already deflated when received it and Lazada said poly plastic must be return together "as a complete set", instead of packing the item in ordinary box with deflated poly plastic, my relative just pack it with newspapers. After a days I've intervene with the issue to communicate with Lazada, the RM700 was refunded, but the RM50 for postage was never refunded. Now currently waiting for the other cooking appliance to arrive which also cost RM700+. I don't think it's wise to buy heavy weight stuff or electrical appliance off Lazada ever.
