I've use the iPhone 6S Plus for a few months too. In that period, comparing the same usage patterns and my current S7 Edge, the S7 Edge is far better.
Of course, we have to factor in that the 6S Plus, there are two different processors for different production batches. If you are lucky enough to get the TSMC processor, your battery life should be good, perhaps nearly equal to the S7 Edge. But if you are unlucky and get the Samsung processor, your battery life will be much worse.
In the market, majority of 6S Plus use Samsung processor unfortunately, and 6S uses TSMC.
