Well technically the 6S or even 6S plus are running on that same specs so you can't say 2016 tak boleh
It's an entry level phone for Apple. So don't expect specs to be better than 6S it's bigger brother la.

If you go to the shop and compare the start up time of apps on the SE with your 6S, you'll actually notice the SE is either slightly faster or equal to that of the 6S. Lol.
Been there, done that.
So for those still worried this is just a "recycled", "lapsap", "worthless", "no-upgrade" kinda phone, just stay away and don't buy la.
For those wanna compare with Android, lagi don't bother la. On paper anything can be great. It's the user experience that counts.

Basically its just the amount of battery cycles are high enough for it to be replaced. 2 1/2 years old ady so i expect the battery will be degraded.

IF you look closely, the SE actually differs from the 5S in one aspect of design - that is, the chamfered edges are now in matte instead of chrome.
Looks much nicer IMO. Especially on the Pink model

I'm planning to buy a new se, but not sure where shld I buy it from, sg or msia. I wonder is there any different of iPhone that bought from different country? Warranty wise, quality, n area network wise?

you can now make order from Apple Malaysia since pricing wise, SG unit not much different from Malaysia unit.

my malaysian unit ordered via Apple Malaysia website shows parcel originating from Singapore. haha. hopefully it will arrive tomorrow or day after that.

Just get in from Apple Malaysia as the warranty for iPhone only covered in the country itself. But got some people manage to claim warranty from another country.

I'm contemplating if I should change to the SE, currently using 6 64Gb which I bought in December after I accidentally done something bad to my 5 32Gb (still works but something on the motherboard (I think) won't work when the screen is installed back.

Anyhow, if I buy the SE my 6 will be given to my gf but definitely not very soon because I want to get my stock in hands - I don't want yellow tint iPhone.

I was at DirectD to buy the 6 last year, when I broke the 5; the unit I got had obvious yellow tint. I rejected and they refunded me. I went to Machines at Sunway and didn't have the yellow tint - lucky me

Anyone who has gotten the SE (I hope everyone who has it here can respond to me as well) can let me know if you have the yellow tint problem.

What about warranty? If I buy from msia n warranty at sg, will it be problem? N vice versa?

I already answered ur question about warranty man. U can get warranty for iPhone from which country u buy. If u buy from SG, the warranty is not covered in MY and vice versa. But, got some people by from outside and managed to claim in here, MY.

Besides warranty, there is bandwidth issue if u buy from outside MY. However as been told by other forumer, Asean/Asia region got same bandwidth with telco here especially for 4g/LTE. Some said that SE from US cannot use 4g/LTE here in MY.

There is nightmode default from Apple that can make ur screen yellow tint now. Maybe u need to check that in settings when buying SE at night..hahaha

But, seriously it all depend on ur luck n the product u get.

Ala sis, i buy 6s rose gold for my wife. End up she's using the red color 360 case.. Hahaha

yes, US got 2 model
1 model that support our band. another model, doesn't which can't use LTE in MY.
i think the one that locked & unlocked model. but the 1 model is the same as other (asia version)..

No wonder my phone looks yellow when I purchased it

The unlocked ones are usually compatible with our band here.
