So in other words, its better to go for a used unit rather than a refurbished unit even if it has been refurbished from factory?

I deal alot with car parts and from experience, a used unit is the better bet than a refurbished (recon) unit unless the refurbished unit comes back from the manufacturer and does carry some warranty.

This is what i would try...
1) Try switch off phone then on...
2) Soft Reset v=by holding down the power button and the home button simultaneously and hold until screnn goes black and then the logo reappear, et go of the buttons.
3) Connect hard wired to your iTunes. Reinstall backups/or like new.

You could raise this issue with apple support. I am sure Apple would like to know of any issues pertaining to their iOS. probably there are more user having the same issues like your thus an update way be the result.

My iphone 4 is still going strong since its official launching with maxis way back in early 2011. It still with the original battery, no issues with its home button and battery can last for around 12 hours.Only setback most apps wont support it but those do support works great.

If you have the budget definitely the larger capacity. Se or 6S, is more of your preferences.

IMHO a 64 6S is more ideal.

Bro, have you tried hard resetting the unit? Press both home buttn and power button until the screen goes black then after 10 sec or so apple logo appears.

wont clear ur data. press both power and home button together and hold until the apple logo comes up. it takes about 10 seconds. then release both buttons and it will start again,

I was using ip6 plus. Although the screen size is excellent, it does take extra care when carrying it. Thats the whole reason I took on a SE, small and practical.

Heavy and slippery if you use it naked. Very difficult if your shirt don't have any chest pocket. I rarely put the phone in the trousers/jeans pocket for obvious reasons.

Can it still charge if plug into the charger? If so then the software still working, then plug it direct to your iTunes. Do a restore and then backup.

If not charging then, most probably the battery was a lemon. Send it in for warranty claim loh.
