Hey I started the Pan's thread before I watched it... I've watched it since and it's a very good film, just overrated. People are attacking me in that thread lol! laugh.gif

In the years to come CoM will be regarded as a classic.

dude, CoM is soooo goddamn underrated it's disgusting. okay, probably not that underrated, but it's frustrating to see it not doing well at the box office, i hope the movie will do well on dvds. i'll sure as heck buy the original once it comes out.

I see ravings about it everywhere, from critics to general viewers. Dont see how that makes it underrated at all.

oh really? my bad then... sweat.gif
i would say it'll go on as a sleeper hit and i think it'll definitely reach a cult status. maybe it's just cos i was basing my opinion off of the fact that it didn't win any oscars. but oscars are overrated anyways.

This movie is good and kinda sad, all ppl helping die off...but it reflects human thinking and lots of exciting moment too, I give 88% to this movie.

the director said something about the ending:

if u are a pessimist u will find it depressing..
if u are a optimist u will find that it's full of hope..

btw love all the single-shots in the movie. must be a pain to choreograph but it was FANTASTIC! rclxms.gif

its not the best for 2006 for me. Anyway it's one of the interesting shouldn't be missed for someone prefer serious subject.

It's one ambitious movie. Somehow, it didn't left too much spectacular moments that i was expected.

The strong idea is there but it didn't move me that well. It supposed to be a depressing movie to warn the world.

There is only one scene which speak well for the subject(to me). The scene when the mother carried out the baby in the building.

"12 monkeys" is one of the kind that will move me effectively.
It doesn't need years to become classic in my heart.
(consider as a movie talking bout human being's dark future.)
