not that great....cos

It's never explained why women suddenly became infertile, or what happens after the movie ends. It leaves way too many questions unanswered

This movie is good. Important storyline for human history. The action are brilliant set-up. I especially like the car bangs up the Bikers..

Just dun think it is really good enuff to pull down The Prestige in IMDB250..haa.. Ok just for me.

Btw, anybody know what's the meaning of "Pull my finger"??

Pull my finger is a fart joke. The prankster gets someone to pull his finger, and then farts, suggesting that the fart was caused by the pulling of his finger.

I think the most touching scene is when Kee holding the baby 2gether with Theo come out from the building safely. All the soldiers have to cease fire and give way to them. It's like standing ovation or solute to the luvly baby. Cool man. thumbup.gif rclxms.gif

yay! a children of men thread! rclxms.gif

i watched it a few weeks ago, but i didn't know there were fans here! this movie is definitely the most important and significant movie in a very long time. i think that the future in this movie is portrayed very realistically, and possibly the one where we're gonna experience a few years down the road. people should watch this.

and all the unanswered questions aren't really there for you to ponder upon, it's just there for facts, you know what i mean. like the reason all the women are infertile, even the people in the movie don't have a clue, it could be pollution, etc. plus, like i said it's just meant to be there to shape the bigger storyline and theme.

and also, so far, this movie has one of the best cinematography i've ever seen. pan's labyrinth should not have won that best cinematography award at the oscar's! vmad.gif

there i said it again... i see that you're a big fan of pan's labyrinth, seeing as you started the thread and all... but IMO, children of men had better cinematography, there's so many scenes that just left you breathless and to the edge of your seat, it' just incredible. but hey whatever you like i guess. this is just my opinion. whistling.gif

Hey I started the Pan's thread before I watched it... I've watched it since and it's a very good film, just overrated. People are attacking me in that thread lol! laugh.gif

In the years to come CoM will be regarded as a classic.
