i got 1 set of old comp, i think at least have 7 years already... the case berkarat & the paint also peel off already... so decided to mod it! make it look newer & nicer... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

my casemod plan
- make a side panel
- side panel window
- paint in white colour
- double layer case, 2nd layer for psu & hardisk
- blow hole
- built in uv accessories......

this is my cpu case... smaller & thiner, is it? sad.gif

take out the cover, the cover is n shape de, if want open it have to push it up! thE right, left & up panel all lekat together... sometimes feel very incovenience to take out the cover! it not like the case now all is separate one, got right & left panel.

so i cut it to three part, make it to right & left panel...

just finish cut the right side only. wah, this case more thicker la, hard to cut it & need more times....
Attached Image

so seperate to 3 part already! until here 1st....

yup, all white...

yeah, add 1 small case for psu & hardisk... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

side already got blow hole, cos i take the arcylic from another case ma, already got 2 side blw hole. the small case also will make 2 blow hole in front, but just 80mm only... cos that just a small case, the heigh is 10cm like that, not enough space to cut 120mm blow hole...

Perhaps you should use some nice sticker to cover those pits. The case would be nicer without those pits.

the casing is for psu & hardisk....

ok, actually got 2 type of meterial... 1 type is aluminium & another 1 is white metal (actual name i dont know), just call in chinese only... the aluminium will encounter this problem like u say... but i bought de is white metal, when i open it, it will automaticaly become flat at the floor, like the red carbet that let VIP walk.... so no need to make it straight icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif but white metal will more expensive la sweat.gif

haha... ok... the blue rectangle i draw is for hardisk holder before, i take out already....

1st, do u feel the hardware inside my case so tight & too small?? so the air flow very bad in my case, the temperature will increase if after few hours.... my processor is place at the back of the psu, its quite near, just 3cm between only... so every time my processor also very hot....

2nd, if i make a window at side panel sure have to remove my psu & hardisk right... cos they will block the view inside....

so i have to remove the 2 thing then make a small case to place them....

juz a suggestion.. why don't u spray the insides of the case to flat black? it'll give u a nice contrast and a more exclusive look..

you can go for plain and simple white. This would make it look elegant. Sometimes adding too much bling bling might not be best idea.
