I do not think so. There shouldnt be any special price for the black DS as it is not newly launched. But there is special price for Special edition of DS. Namely the Winnig eleven DS lite, Pokemon DS Lite and Final Fantasy DS Lite. Those are significantly more expensive.

hi reveur....thanks for all the information ya....n yea with no doubt i am a gal...tats y my heart melt when i 1st saw pink nitendo ds lite. i will just get it at k.l then....need 2 go searching around....n for the 550-600 flashed nitendo ds lite..do i still need 2 purchase Flashme,Passme,flash cart to play *ahem* games? or i can just start playing with it? i will pm djinn too 4 price n information....thanks again for helping out ya...

you need a flashcart and memory card, if it is flashed (which is passme(some code, nothing physical) inside your ds), you don't need passkey

@ Mitodna: FF3 is RARE now. Expect the retailer to bring out a chainsaw when you ask for FF3. Last known price for it before the FF3 goes rare is at 180. Yes sir, thats how expensive it is. Onyx Ds should be 550. There should be no reason for it to be more expensive.

@Yong: You are welcomed. Flashme itself is used to flash your DS. Upon flashing the DS, the DS contain the firmware Flashme already. Passme is only needed if you didnt flash your ds. Flash cart such as Supercard is need to play Homebrew and ahem stuff.

Heyyy...what DS Lite also are okay, I heard that the Asian ones aren't as easy to crack as the US/Japanese one. YMMV. BTW I have a white one

Doubt it ash, Hafez13 ds lite white cracked. And he got it for less then 1 month.

@rev, is hori screen protector is still the best for ds lite now?

Not sure mitodna. I dont really know about screen protector but the favourite from all tiem is Hori so i assume its good. The price should be around 30. And you can "pester" the retailer for a free protector when purchasing your DS.

u r not...dont worry....even if u did i dont mind coz reveur hav giv me all the answer i need....actually wanted 2 get it frm k.l but since my fren already brought it so never mind lo...well it is pink in colour with an extra free pen...cost around RM495.97.My fren will be back on 7th of january so will recieve it by then....she will find some games for me since it is still on sales...kinda cheap....for the flashme service i am going to look 4 for djinn...

Make sure u got yourself compatible NDS Lite local voltage charger or USB charger. Don't use the charger that came with your US NDSL.
