Sigh..wish the boys had this much fire in them throughout the season...definitely wouldn't be languishing in midtable..haih.

Leicester are champions!!!! Nice favour for our old boss, kind of hilarious looking at the spurs players behaving like sore losers on and off the pitch

QUOTE(zoidx_chung @ May 3 2016, 05:02 AM) Yup,very calm demeanor when his players were losing their heads. Impressed with what he's tried to do at spurs. Perhaps the defense is lacking slightly, but that squad is quite talented.Hazard has suddenly turned up,good thing we won't be entertaining any bids for him anytime soon. But...we just never know eh. Everyone showed tons of heart today and it was lovely to see us fighting for every single ball. What I really enjoyed was unlike spurs players,a lot of our tackles in the second half were spot on compared to theirs which were mostly obscene and badly, badly timed. |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ May 3 2016, 02:38 PM) yeah, on paper Belgium should at least be on semi final. Trust eden to trash talk spurs leading up to the game, and proceed to smash in the goal which ends their title hopes. All within a space of less than a week and suddenly he's managed to win back the affection from a huge majority of the stamford bridge faithful about last night game..a few of chelsea players were lucky that they survived the game without any injuries. It seems to be a mental thing with eden isn't it?even in the spurs game I see him tracking back but not to the extent of sacrificing his attacking instincts. Seriously man when was the last time he scored a goal like that?I remember the equaliser at anfield under Jose which was similar and it feels like ages ago. Dude needs to be a little brave sometimes. QUOTE(zoidx_chung @ May 3 2016, 02:44 PM) Haha that judo sure came in handy as Guus appears to be unscathed It seems ranieri called him not long after that tunnel bust-up and thanked him profusely |

Why is matic looking so glum?
That was a really neat finish..would like to see him celebrating a bit more enthusiastically.yes its been a disastrous season, but there's no point being negative about it on the pitch. |

Courtois with another blunder. Haih. I just get a feeling willian is saving himself to prevent injury. That's an awful attitude to have. And...we're down. Pathetic.

One minute we look like a decent side, and then in the next five we look like utter rubbish.
I hope conte rips them all a new one. |

Guus used to be a really dynamic manager, mixing it up in terms of personnel. Particularly loved how he paired drogs and anelka.
Guess age has caught up with him. As usual refs are very 'decisive' when it comes to booking our players. What a piss poor performance. |

Begovic palming a fairly straightforward cross directly into benteke's chest just typifies a season of stupid mistakes for us. Such disgraceful keeping, especially after eden's wonderful individual effort.
Our makeshift back four were doing superb against an in form liverpool side, until begovic decided to be the main higlight of our defense. Sheesh. Even mikel and baba were having a good game for heaven's sake! Tammy abraham and pedro both had clear chances to put the game to bed which weren't taken. But kudos to guus for giving traore, kenedy and abraham good game time,I'm sure they enjoyed themselves immensely. That's probably the biggest positive of the match, apart from eden rediscovering his 'true' form |

Dropped the ball badly in the second half. We look very-very under par, some players don't look like they wanted to be on the pitch. Pedro should've stayed on,instead of willian.

They can put all their youngsters on the transfer list now. Unless they've got a potential messi or ronaldo hiding somewhere in the locker room
Nope no good wishes from me either,I'm saving all that for our own boss, conte! |

conte doing really well with the players he has,you could see there's a lot of togetherness and unity in that squad, especially judging by the celebrations at fulltime
most of the time they kept their cool in possession, and forced the belgians to work extra hard in order to recover the ball, instead of just gifting it to them with aimless clearances. this was a facet of their gameplay which i'd love to see conte bring to chelsea. bear in mind italy's first 11 can be labelled as 'decent' at best. i mean..no disrespect to the azzurri, but apart from buffon, chiellini, and perhaps bonucci, who could we honestly say yes, that player will waltz straight into chelsea's first eleven? no one. that's what makes it extra special and judging by our 'progress' with transfers so far, we're going to definitely need conte's ability to get the best of whatever squad he's given. |
