Stupid refereeing decisions aren't helping us either. How was that a dive by pedro?!

I think we can kiss Guus's record in the PL.i just don't see us getting an equaliser. Might be wrong. But I just don't sense we're going to get a goal in this game.

Loftus cheek off?hmm I think we might concede a second here. We're losing that midfield battle already.

Yawn. In the end we're about to give away hiddink's record with a pathetic whimper. Unbelievably poor attitude from top to bottom, particularly at the back.

Possibly one of our worst performances this season.

biggrin.gif  i think we have much worsen match than this.

the team gameplay in fact doesnt improve much under hiddink, lucky he did continue next season.

Against relegation candidates, this is easily one of the worst.

Sorry bro,if you're trying to discredit Guus for how he dragged us up the table with that 15 match unbeaten run then I have to disagree with you. Yes he's been a bit 'too safe' with some of his lineups but overall he's done really2 well imho.

I kind of blame Pato for this,he should've had at least a couple of goals. That ridiculously stupid decision to backheel pedro's pinpoint cross into him with an empty net gaping was criminal.

That alone should be enough reason to either go with traore or falcao next weekend. My vote goes to traore.

Well then that's a relief. Wouldn't mind traore out wide though. Had a great pass into falcao's feet which lead to goal scoring chance for us.

But it was falcao...so..yeah. Of course the shot was blocked sweat.gif

Damn, first lost since the replacement right? Thought could keep the record. Sigh

Some players really don't have any pride playing for the shirt. Thank heavens we only signed Pato on loan. He needs waaay more work in the gym if he ever wants to try and make it here and back into the brazilian national team.

Miazga and brana combo was such a far cry from the one where he was paired with cahill. The record's gone and hate to see us surrender it so meekly.

Note: players like RLC,kenedy, and traore definitely need to do more to impress conte. Not sure if there's enough time for that, but our lack of CL football will most surely mean at least a couple will need to be given a run next season.

Scoreline flatters them. If we didn't have a biased coward refereeing the game, man city would be a man down and we would've pulled a goal back through de bruyne's clumsy tackle on kenedy.

Has the balls to send courtois off but can't book zabaleta for a second yellow. Pathetic.

Meh. City were good but nowhere near bayern/barca level good in terms of creating clear cut chances. I wish them well in europe, pellegrini certainly deserves more respect as a manager.

Best player in blue for me was loftus cheek. Had some brilliant touches and dribbles which would make dele ali seem pretty ordinary, imo. Certainly not enough fight was shown, but if we pulled one back through a penalty which should've been given,I believe we would've drawn level.

Still think the squad doesn't need a complete overhaul, but it desperately requires a coach to stamp his authority in giving us a solid identity in our style of play. There are some brilliant players in there,no doubt about that. But they must be given clear direction on their roles on the pitch.

We look at liverpool, with their crazy high pressing, city's pass and move, utd's patient build up,they've all got a clear idea on their style of play. Unfortunately when we look at chelsea, sometimes everybody just seems confused.

We don't know whether to press higher upfield,or put in more crosses?pass the ball with a higher tempo?take more shots?in the end we try too hard to do a bit of everything, without being good at anything in particular. In other words we become much, much less effective and it shows in our results.

P.s: To be fair to Guus he's tried to put more emphasis on a passing game, but evidently it won't work too well when you have practically half the squad already daydreaming about their holidays.

Sheesh if they were so lousy, how'd they beat us 1-0 at the bridge earlier in the season sweat.gif

We need to be aggressive vs spurs. Let's give claudio a hand,he definitely deserves it smile.gif
