Keep
Thibaut Courtois, Asmir Begovic, Cesar Azpilicueta, John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Kurt Zouma, Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Matic, John Obi Mikel, Eden Hazard, Willian, Bertrand Traore, Kenedy, Diego Costa.

Discard
Gary Cahill, Marco Amelia, Loic Remy, Radamel Falcao, Papy Djilobodji.

Give time
Oscar, Pedro, Baba Rahman, Matt Miazga, Juan Cuadrado, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Alexandre Pato.

We needs a striker to keep Costa on his toes as in give him competition if not better more than willing and capable. A creative box to box midfielder more or less game changer and possibly two defenders (left back and central). As a whole the more competition for places the better to keep everyone on their toes and most important give more opportunities to the youths out on loan to prove themselves.

Discard Cahill and we will have trouble when the injury spree strikes. He arguably considered a consistent performer (only when he tags with someone that is above his standard). Hate to admit that, but you remove an experience defender like that is going to cause the same problem like how Terry's contract are still pending for renew.

For me, I'd go for this;

Keep
Thibaut Courtois, Asmir Begovic, Cesar Azpilicueta, John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Kurt Zouma, Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Matic, John Obi Mikel, Eden Hazard, Willian, Bertrand Traore, Kenedy, Diego Costa, Pedro, Matt Miazga, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Alexandre Pato

Discard
Marco Amelia, Loic Remy, Radamel Falcao, Papy Djilobodji, Oscar, Baba, Cuadrado, Salah.

Those that I discarded, is either they are not good enough or they are not interested in playing for Chelsea anymore since their loan. I guess there's no point in persuading them to stay with us since their heart is no longer with us. Highlighted in bold are having rumors to leave Chelsea and I honestly wouldn't stop them from leaving since they have plans on leaving. Why want to force stay when they have no interest in playing for us anymore?

I do think it is time to let few of our youngsters to play since they have shown significant contributions throughout the struggle that we are currently facing. RLC and Kennedy is going great and Traore starts to score goals. If we limit their appearance, they would be the next to force an exit like Lukkaku and KDB.

keep in mind that we will be without europe and need to sell before we can buy...so we might need to sell a few big players if we want to reinforce..unless Roman willing to invest..its been a while since he really splash the cash..

so Tibo Hazard, Costa, Oscar and Cuadrado (at least we can get half of what we've paid) might leave..depend on how big of changes that Conte wanted it to be..

i think even if we sell, we should bring up youth to replace them. reinforce only if needed.
really doubt RA will pour money since we got a stadium to build.

Oscar can fetch a good price, bring up RLC and Baker. i think Conte will like Cuadrado, might possibly see him back in the line up. Costa and Tibo, technically we cant sell since its going to be hard to replace, but if good price and they wanna go, then let them go

Now i dont worry much about hazard leaving us because we got pedro and kennedy biggrin.gif

Need to focus on defense and find a good playmaker for am. And need to find decent striker who can tap the ball into the net. No more uli uli bola infront of the goal post. I like to see more direct play next season

oscar tops my discard list. followed closely by falcao, remy and papy. hazard is a special case. deep down, I hope he stay and show the desire to win things again. but if he think he is bigger than the club, we better sell him to the highest bidder. on matic, I think he is having the worst season in his career. I would like to give him another chance to get back to his best. I can't believe a midfield colossus like him in the middle of the park can suddenly out of form for the whole season. got to be dark magic or something...

JT is also a special case. if we are going to rebuild, I think we are better without him. start fresh. either willingly or forcefully, somebody need or will take up the responsibility to be the new spine of the team. I have high hopes on RLC. he got the build. he got the 'look' to be a new leader. some new comers got this babyface look on them and senior players might not pay attention to them. not in the case for RLC. really hope conte can make him into some sort of new pogba hehe

I dont strike hazard as a hardworker. He is a diva

And matic, I agree with u he's been underperforming for the whole season. And when guus came in also he didnt really have the chance to play. It doesnt take a genius to figure out what's happening

JT might be the bridge for conte to settle in at the club. We need his leadership but I also have a mixed feeling about this

RLC need to increase his work rate. Mourinho did mention he doesn't fight (the one when he was subbed in and immediately subbed out) if he can work and straighten the problem should be ok

I do have high hope on van ginkel though. Hopefully he can emulate fab or lamps.

I hope we keep JT one more season. We need his leadership still in the locker room and Zouma and Cahill still rely too much on JT to know what to do.

Keep him one more season but with a more reduced role on the pitch, teaching our defenders to defend instead.

Other than that, i agree with everything else. Hope we can keep Hazard but if he still don't want work for his place in Chelsea, wanna go somewhere else, milk him for every cent. Oscar can sell for a good price, he says he wanna stay but he not showing it on the pitch. Just glimpses of what he can do.

Matic is a beast, just really no form this whole season. Under Conte hopefully he will shine..

Conte's targets?
user posted image

in JT case, the board passed the ball to Conte to decide on JT's future.
if anything go wrong, you think the fans will blame the board or Conte?

if can lure higuain or cavani would be good. conte tend to play two striker upfront. too much reliance on costa is not good.

so he has no power in transfer market?
