From their reply, they are all GENUINE. A TRUST is established from there on. As a customer I feel comfortable and relaxed talking with them. Not some scripted line. You should listen how they ended their call - pleasant goodbye and well wishes

Generally yes but answer isn't that straight forward.
Some airlines will have different clauses and of course different miles required.
I will suggest you aim for their own redemption (kf redeem sia, am redeem Cathay), after getting familiar only look into partner airlines.

Maybe u can tell us how many miles u have and where u want to go, and whether u have any preferences, I will give some suggestion

kf is region based redemption, so the miles should be the same whether starting from kul/pen/bkk or sin...of course you will fly first to sin to connect the main flight....

am i think some additional miles needed for the kul-hkg leg......

I have a problem. My wife's VI is due May. Because of concerns she may not make the 50k spend, I clarified with private banking about this and told the spend period is 1 may 2018 to 30 April 2019. I note end of last month it was short of about 4k, so on 27th I top up BP with 4.2k making it over 50k. However the annual fee was charged on the same date 27th. I called CS and they said spend calculation is until 27th, and the final spend is not valid!!!

I have appealed to the card centre, but they have rejected my appeal. What are my options now? How are people to know they calculate based on the 27th of month instead of calendar month? And I actually clarified this with the bank officer who told me calender month!!
