I think all of us would aim for the newer planes for our hard earned points though lol
What time did you call to redeem? I called around 3pm yesterday and my points still haven’t been deducted yet. Worried that CS didn’t go through with my request sweat.gif

Well yeah but furthest you can go with new suites is prolly Swiss. Definitely can look into it but going around in Swiss will prolly cause you an arm and a leg. lol

I can go only as far as 27/5/2020, they’re still operated by the old suites A380, maybe I’ll check again in a few days.

SQ only allow booking 355 days in advance.
Unless you get insider news that new suite will be available from 30/5/20.

SQ25/26 is super high demand.
Even 26/5/20 (355 days in advance) can't get old suite at saver (only advantage).
Inside seat selection, all seats are still available.
*
Will go check it out later as I was just messing around with the booking this morn. Lol

355 days in advance.. you a get a saver to let pending on which day you want to fly.. I know cause I have done it.

Edit : correction.. it was for 27th may... disregard my earlier post. Lol. The app did not show the whole cabin but 6 seats which I immediately thought it's the new suites. Lol anyhoo ... Move along but saver ticket is there .

It's still a good card to use regardless for those who travel for business often. I was raking in miles even before jumping onto the BP bandwagon. lol

Cutting the card will not show Mbb anything as Maybank don't lose anything if you guys cut it given that it was applied to workaround this system in the first place. This card is plenty good in the first place for those who have used it long before this ewallet craze came up.

Also miles brokering, do becareful cause if you buy miles from other people to credit into your own account, you will be suspended with everything gone. I know Krisflyer audit accounts as I have personally been audited before and I thank god they did not suspend my account.

Have to ask those that claim they still got 2x TP from reloading BigPay

As far as I am concern, no TP unless proven otherwise. Will be dumb for Maybank to specifically exclude e-wallet but still let BP thru
*
Still got...but chances are it will be reversed once this catches on......

Why? They cannot do it, not the cardholders' fault, the points are not reversed after so long. That said I didn't spend on BP with MBV cards after 8th July.
*
Well, it's a chicken and egg problem. They have the right to cancel without prejudice so yeah.

Spent on BP cause was curious and nobody in my group wanna try so I bit the bullet and topped up a significant amount.......lol

Have you manage to get 2x Suites via KF miles to JFK before?

I have......super easy in fact. Just book the night they open the seats ( 1 year ahead ). Tuesday and wednesday are the best days for confirmed saver seats.

Just noticed Suites is also available to LAX
Thanks for the info, i'm guessing you will have to call Krisflyer to redeem your miles from Msia route since SIA website doesn't have the option of Suites from Msia only SG?
*
Last time I did that, I just manually redeem another ticket to fly down to Singapore. Can't risk waiting to call Krisflyer in the morn and then to find out that someone has taken those seats I want. Smal lprice to pay. Or, maybe you can get the seats d then try to ask them to add in a KUL to SIN flight for you. ahaha...

Ahh, because the amount of miles to redeem from Msia -> JFK and SG -> JFK is the same right?
Means you'd have to spend more miles/$ if you redeem separately.

If you book from SG -> JFK online then call them to include Msia -> SG flight, will they charge you extra? Or they will just include that in your current booking at no extra charge/miles?
*
1) Yes, if business class, SIN to JFK and KUL to JFK would be the same. That's my thought process anyhow.

2) THis one I don't know. I never tried. I just separately redeemed additional tickets to go down SG. ahaha
