Hi, I have been searching all over but can't seem to find the policy or T&C for the Amex Reserve retail protection. Anybody knows if this retail protection is still available for this card? And if so, how do we make a claim?

Just to update, I called up mbb, retail protection insurance have been removed from amex reserve, sigh....

Received email today from mbb, gave different answer to call center. Apparently amex reserve still have retail protection insurance. To claim, the email says call etiqa. Just sharing info.

Yes, always follow UK date. Eg yesterday's match is 11pm msia time 26/12 even though match finish on 27/12 msia time, it will only look at charges made on 26/12 msia time. So even purchases at 1am 26/12 will get 5xTP.
Next couple of matches are early morning 2-3am msia time day after, so you have to "bet" and make purchases the day before, to match uk date. And hope MU win.

To recap, bonus given when MU win based on uk match kick off date for purchases made on msia date, 26/12 uk = 26/12 msia (not 27/12).

Purchases on 30/12 (msia date) since match is 30/12 uk date.
Purchases on 2/1 (msia date) since match is 2/1 uk date.
No bonus TP win or lose, bonus only for EPL matches.

Just remember, find out the match kick off date in uk. Do your purchases on same msia date. This may have to be before the match (ie "bet" mu win) because we are 8 hours ahead.
Those matches that kick off 8pm,10pm msia time, we will have chance to wait for the result before purchasing, assuming shops not yet close or you doing online purchases that process payment instantly. Otherwise it's purchases first and pray very hard mu win.

Hopefully OGS can return mu to previous glory, no need to pray, confirm 5TP every match 😉

Yes, seems to be a few reports previously they don't accept payslip from overseas. Maybe you can try going to a branch or maybank kard centre or email them to ask officially.

When you pledge, the fd will be kept by the bank until you cancel cc or when you achieve the required annual salary and can "reapply" for the card with adequate credit limit, then you can ask back your fd.

It's not a loop hole, Maybank doesn't care. It's just like any other transaction, the more you use the more merchant (in this case Bigpay) pay fees to Maybank. It would only be any issue if its business expenses on personal card. Otherwise, not logic if they block just because of RM10k. Plane ticket, hotel also more than RM10k possible, surely they won't limit it to 1xTP.
