Definitely not a good idea. It's better to keep quiet. You already got the points just redeem to wherever airlines miles. There's no advantage of asking, and only risk of them changing it.

I just tried this and it shows 70k miles + HKD1601, not too bad for almost return ticket.

Yup, overall better to just pay the full 140k miles for return ticket because
1) Can fly Qsuite or other airlines
2) Can include intra Europe flight for free
3) Pay less taxes
4) Save time going back from another city instead of going back to LHR
