Two days ago I booked my flight through United Airlines website using my MUVI.

For this transaction, Im getting 5x tps right? As its considered as oversea transaction.

New to M2P. Got the VI and AMX Reserve instead of MUVI.

Was going through couple of pages in this thread but unable to figure out why spending MUVI during MU match day (winning) is a thing.

The reason I'm asking, for M2P VI and RESERVE, it's already 5x TP for every Local or Overseas transactions. Noticed, for MUVI, it's only up to 2TP for local transaction.

Am I missing something here?

I tried to add my amex reserve to grab apps. But it came out error msg 'sorry, this card cant be added due to it's not 3D secured activated'

Anyone encounter this before?

Someone needs to amend the first post to put details of how 5x MUVI works and when to spend. Every match day without fail, everyone will ask the same question - what date / time need to swipe MUVI for 5x TP.

Also fyi, next match on 2 November is early kickoff, everyone gets to know result before midnight. 43% chance of winning.

Damn frustrated, tried to spend many times for the MU match but couldn't receive the otp as I'm overseas. Always face this problem cannot receive otp, not sure Malaysia telco or overseas telco issue.

The thing is based on my experience replacing few cards from MBB, during the process I was asked not to use anymore on the old card as my card will be blocked and may delay the replacement process. So, I guess they just want to avoid you from using it. Nonetheless, I wasn't asked to surrender my old card when I replaced mine.

Also, I accidentally used once during replacement process and it went through, luckily everything was OK at the end.

I just saw when I tried to redeem via Grab that it shows valid till Oct 2020, so I didnt proceed to redeem.

I think what Grab does is bulk buy the miles from KF, so 1 batch will have a certain amount of time before they all expire at the same time. Once the KF miles they have are close to expiry, Grab will buy another batch and this new batch will have longer expiry. That's my theory anyway, not sure if it works this way.

I wouldn't include RM300k income tax into the calculation. Not like there's an option not to pay income tax, and no other cards would give you any points for income tax payment. At least with this card, it still goes into the calculation for RM300k.

The Annual Fee is not RM2400. They are having promo where the annual fee is RM1800 till 30th June.

If you have multiple insurance or education fees, you can also charge to this card as insurance and education charges, including e-wallet top ups contribute to Skywards points. MBB gives 1x for insurance and education, and ) points for e-wallets.
