i think the comparison abit off, i was considering wmc and the ikhwan due to VI wont exactly give 2tp for every transaction but the wording used is up to 2TP.

Do you all call MBB to update your travel plan for overseas transactions? I'm quite confused by MBB sometimes, I will call every time but in the last two calls, the CS told me no need to call them anymore as it will be activated automatically.

Just now was my first time calling to activate for M2P, the CS updated my travel plan and didn't tell me I won't need to call anymore...

I had bad experience before, there was once many years ago I forgot to activate and spent in Japan, after third transaction, my card was blocked and MBB tried to call me which I missed and incurred high roaming cost when I called back to unblock.

From that time onward, I will call every single time before I travel. Looking at you guys must be frequent travellers, do you really call every single time?

Do note the count stops on the 27th of the month before anniversary month..... remember I ran into trouble because the spend to tip over the AF waiver limit was made on the 27th itself, and they want to charge me full af.....

Calculating from the statements not very accurate, the figure the cs quote is different from my calculations.....if marginal only over the minimum, a wrong calculation may result in a small shortfall and Maybank is basically a no negotiation bank as far as waiver is concerned....
