Hi, I want to ask regarding credit card payment due date.

I always make my payment around 26~28th on end of the month after I got my salary.

I just made my payment on 27th June. Then Unifi bill come late on last month , it came on 28th June.

Just now I checked my credit card, the payment due date is 11 July. I prefer to pay all of my outstanding together right after I got salary. Does this mean I need to pay on 11 July ? otherwise I will get penalty like interest charges ? How long we should pay our outstanding right after we use our card ? I just got my cards 3 months ago.
*
Well, if your payment due date is 11th July, that means your statement date is 21st of every month. Then, you don't need to pay for this UniFi. It will only due on 11th August. You just pay the amount stated in statement balance.

Please confirm if your statement date is 21st?

Does it still have 5x rewards point on weekend? Or instead of 5x points spend in weekend, it turn to cashback?
*
5x TP is anytime, not only applies to weekends.
However, the 5xTP has been revised for certain categories. You may refer to post #1 for the revision. There are 0 TP and 1xTP respectively.

QUOTE(harryfoo @ Jul 8 2016, 09:20 AM)
That applies for bill payments also right?
*
Yes anything but you won't get any cash back for dining.

Can anyone clarify the weekend spending cash back is base on transaction date of posting date.

Thanks.
*
Which one, promo or normal dining weekend cash back?
I believe the promo should be the same as dining cash back which follows transaction date.

I am referring to both...Thanks for the clarification.  thumbsup.gif

Just wanna clarify as other cards cash back is base on posting date within the calendar month.
*
I think only HLB Wise follows posting date? Most of the cards follow transaction date.

I think if the cash back is credited in the same month, then it most likely will follow posting date. If it is not posted by the statement date, the bank won't know the transaction that eligible for cashback. (Probably will be credited in next month)
*
If you meant Maybank dining cash back, it follows transaction date. Posting date is only important if the transaction done at the end of month and only posted in following month, then cash back will be calculated from next month's pool.

Transaction date determines eligibility of cash back.

Posting date determines the month of cash back credit (applicable to transactions incurred end of the month).

Will be credited after it's posted in your unbilled transactions, usually 2-3 days.

my master ikhwan gold jist approved. and it seems that they have cancelled my gold 2 cards. is it normal practice for mbb?
*
No, I still have my M2Cards after I got my Ikhwan MC. Unless you request to convert or cancel, they cannot simply cancel your cards without your knowledge.
