Great, I have redeemed all of my treatpoints just now, going to chop this 2 cards into pieces now. Anyways, do you guys know what would happened to my zing touch n go card that linked to this card? The zing card still have a lot of balance left.

every zing card that is linked to a credit card, when the card is cancelled, the zing card will have 3 months of validity before it expired. this is the reason why i refused to apply for zing card after i read the terms and conditions.

what you can do?

1. spend all the balance within 90 days
2. visit touch and go hub and get them to transfer your balance to a 'standalone' touch and go card

After considering, i will continue holding MBB 2 cards, because of weekend 5% cb for dining. While for Visa, totally can put in drawer as i replaced with Visa Signature.

Now got to looking for another card for insurance / other expenses.
I found out OCBC 365 and HLB Essential are suitable.

this is from Maybank's FAQ:

18. I would like to terminate my Maybankard credit card. Can I continue to use my Zing Card?
Your Maybankard credit card and T'nG Zing Card are linked, so you won't be able to auto reload your Zing Card after cancelling your Maybankard credit card.
(Note: You are required to utilise the unused balance of your Zing Card within 3 months from the date of your Maybankard credit card cancellation.)

Can consider HL Mach to replace M2C for dining

I prefer can use for general.

Mach card is easier to manage than Wise. Just pick the package you want and others expenses will get 0.2%.

Wow, you spend a lot on dining. Do you have PBB VS dining cb 6%?

nope, not qualify
my spend on dining usually got payback from friends and family, to earn cash back
occasionally maybank have some dining discount as well, since there is no GST, so it still worth to keep

Well, I have both and I seldom have the chance to use my Maybank2AmEx Plat.
I seldom dine out during weekends and places I go don't accept AmEx.
MACH is just handy for me.

So, in conclusion, good to have both.
