Been using d'addario 9-42 and 10-46 for more than 10 years now  thumbup.gif
Although I always encourage myself to try all the brands of strings out there...

I miss Dean Markley Blue Steel, those cryogenics activation strings, dunno where to get 'em in KL...been using those strings alot when I was in Europe years ago...the breakage fatality of that string is almost zero/nil... laugh.gif

Right now using Slinky Custom Gauge, 9-46...pretty versatile, you can shred the bottom strings while still bend the top strings like crazy (also nice tapping and pull off/hammer on)

I saw blue steel in JS Music. But not sure what's the strings type. Maybe they have the one that you looking for.

JoBigShow,

Yeah it looks exactly like this, but i didnt see its detail whether it's electric or acoustic strings. Better give them a call to find out.

The store is the one at Jalan Imbi, right?
Imma going check the place out soon, these strings are superb!
This strings holds the tone longer than any other strings I use...very loud, yet refined...and somewhat easy to press, the 10-46 felt like pressing a 9.5-42 tongue.gif

But the downside is not to install the strings in the cold temps in the wee hours, (2am to 7am) it needs to be install in an average temp of the day...simply explain, it's to do with the molecule configuration in the strings when initial tension applied onto the strings...
