Cilaka.... ini macam pun ada ka?

Personally, in the past I have tried so many telcos and only Maxis got coverage at areas where I work/stay unfortunately.

Indeed it does suck to be treated like this from what I have read in this thread. In a nutshell, we are the consumer, and we have our rights to switch over etc etc. As for me most important is that the service provided is what i expected.

I wish I could use OneXOX, imho ther rates are the best. I even have 2 lines for both my sons but where I stay, line is quite unstable.

Emmm, I might just give MAXIS a call...and see what they say or not say..

There are still many customers will stick with maxis:

1. Those who have no alternative coverage area.
2. Those who lazy/scare to make change.
3. Those who enjoy extra service like spotify.
4. Those who really enjoy high speed from maxis.
5. The plan really suit to the users.
6. Those who have no idea about this issue.
7. Those elite / business plan users who get better plan, free phones, & 1st priority service.
8. Those who get the cheap 68 & 88 plan.
9. Those who got contract.
*
Also add...

10. Those who company pay for hp benefit.

well said rclxms.gif agree with number 1 & 4...

This i agree too. Where I am, only Maxis have stable network. Even their fibre network also. (funny though since infra by telekom)...

Nonetheless, its no excuse to be selectives with your customers. If there is a change for the better, provide to all customers.

Hmm.. Looks like they rolled out before reaching new cycle..

Good question, since this data bump is so significant I'm not sure will we still be getting 15GB of free Spotify..

Just tried my spotify.... premium account still active and accessible rclxms.gif

Is MAXIS going to consider 'carry forward' unused data?

Agreed. One reason why I haven't considered Umobile yet. Not sure about Digi & Celcom.

Maxis 4G is very good everywhere I go in Penang island, no reason to jump when quality and speed are excellent.
*
Yup, been there last month, was really surprise with the reception adn I was all over the island. No issues whatsoever.

Where I stay, only maxis have stable reception. Celom/digi/ etc sometimes ok sometimes hampeh.

In the end just choose what suit you the best ba. no point compare this telco that telco but in the end you have to use what suit u the best.

like for me, i choose maxis cuz i do not wan to give even a penny to shit service provided by digi, n umobile at my area. celcom is not so good either for me.
*
yup agreed, use whichever that suits your needs.

Maxis clever loh.....recent fracas, they did not lower their packages' rates but instead offer more data...so their income from customer still the same. As for the extra data, infrastructure already available so depends on the customer to fully utilise or not. As far as maxis concern, their collection is still there. Unfortunately for me, only maxis have the service within my area of home and work. The others telco are all useless. Yes I do agree, other telco have more attractive packages but no use if can't use it right.....

Can't be helped in my case. Oh well, at least there is a telco that will suit my needs albeit the uncompetitive pricing.... sad.gif
