So much schadenfreude and witchhunt in here - so ugly to see. It's not like the other viral fb topics where admin scold/insult customers or whatever.

At the end of the day, it's just business - willing seller, willing buyer. Whoever's unhappy is free to leave.

Lol I'd say it's a decent move by Maxis but some people won't be satisfied until everyone gets 10gb for rm50 or something. As if price is the only differentiation between the networks.

There's the option of switching to maxis one plan and if that's not good enough, DiGi, Celcom, uMobile (and webe coming soon).

Had a look at the full details. I'd say given Maxis' coverage and overall customer service, their new plans are much more competitive.

There will people who will still insist that other networks are cheaper, but I suspect those are not Maxis' target customers anyway. They're probably going for people who are willing to pay more for better service/products.

Maybe some people willing to pay more because Maxis coverage is better in their frequented locations, or they like the added services like free Spotify in MOP, or they had bad experiences with previous networks and prefer to not take risks, or they like the overall experience of dealing with Maxis.

Nah, actually cannot be, they must all be water fishes biggrin.gif

How is it unreasonable to pay the contract termination fee which you agreed to when you signed the contract? They even give you a free upgrade on your current plan even though technically they didn't have to since it's contracted.

Maxis has its faults but some people really simply bash lol

thanks for your head up...

some of my bugger friend who is the early batch of "threaten port and get counter offer" did have the RM88 for MOP 158....

now kena downgrade to 98... seriously laugh off my shoes hahahahaha....

the moment when you think you escaped and pick up a gold bar, hell no ~~~  eh hello, ini maxis la... Listed company doing business oi ~~  bruce.gif

if this is the case where all previous "special counter offer" being taken off, then I'm fine with it... if doing the calculation correctly, the new maxis plan isn't bad provided u taking up the subline services, call a lot and confirm data will be fully exhausted. Go ahead and it is quite a good plan....

BUT.... i want see the SPECIAL OFFER THINGY END !!!!  ranting.gif

Lol so bitter, get a life man. What do you benefit from seeing others lose their offers?

Maxis shouldnt have offered, but once they did, they shouldn't have gone back on their word to their customers. Two wrongs don't make a right.

i still got whatever they offered me the last time, so i cant argue. unless they dont want to waived my spotify premium and 15gb data allocation, then only i can say they cheated me.

Yeah, I think that's a fair position to take.

Yes, I am aware.

What I am trying to say is their response, How many lines you have will probably determine if Maxis MaxiShit will give a further rebate for the monthly billing.

Just like what this thread is all about; quietly giving different rebates to others and none to those who do not know.

Typical double / triple standard  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  ranting.gif

LOL, you're seeing things that are not there bro.

It's a standard question to ask: if you have more than one line, they can recommend the OneShare package, which is a better deal on average than just one MOP98 line.

Any mention of whether the RM68/month 5GB "special" package lines will get this upgrade?

Last time rm68 dont receive any upgrade to 10gb. So no to this too i think
*
Last time no upgrade to 15gb because they downgraded everyone's MOP158 to MOP98, hence everyone remained on 5GB.

If it's still MOP98, then technically should get the upgrade, but who knows, they may make exceptions for those with retention package.

Personally, even if there's no upgrade, I would still stay on RM68/month, I'm not really maximizing the 5GB monthly as it is, and can live with the usage. Though 10GB+10GB will mean more streaming and youtube when I'm out haha.

Which RM68 plan you guys are referring to ? The one given as a rebate or the Sabah/Sarawak MaxisONE Plan RM68 ? If you guys are referring to the latter, yes. The plan is getting an extra 5GB extra weekend date but everything else remains the same. Same as in all-day data remains at 5GB, unlimited midnight surfing stays with unlimited calls and SMS.

No, we're referring to the retention package that was given earlier this year to customers who wanted to port out. RM68/mth for MOP98 - which is basically a rm30 rebate.
