i just ported out from Maxis on Jan 2016. Using Maxis Go at RM48 (1GB on peak + 1GB off peak). Ported into Digi smartplan 50 at RM40 per month with 3GB data all time.
was called by maxis loyalty department to offer the plan with 3GB and free 200 mins. At the point of time, I've agreed upon the offer and I was informed him that I already replied to sms that I going to port out from maxis. He said he will settle everything for me as long as I agreed with the offer.
I wait until the next day, my maxis line already no longer active. So, this loyalty officer did not perform their job as what he is already promised to me. Feel very disappoint.
Staying with digi until now.

I remember correctly that maxis did came out with Maxis One Plan lite version at RM58 with only 100MB (LTE)
Not sure when removed this plan as I can't see this plan exist in their website.

digi did offer some discount on monthly plan from time to time when there is any booth setup in shopping mall. do check it out. I dont see this happen in maxis.
Using maxis since year 2002 until Jan 2016. Loyalty customer officer called me only after i try to port out from maxis. They never appreciate their customer until they try to leave.
i 'm signed up the digi smartplan 50 at RM40 per month with 3GB plan all net, free 100 sms and 100 mms.

QUOTE(attw @ Apr 7 2016, 08:27 AM) Ya, if you're still on contract (like myself) they won't give a damn. Some one with contract also get special deal. But it's depend on your negotiation skill. I don't really put high hope on the upcoming plan by maxis. But let's wait for the news later. Anyway, I already port out 3 of my numbers from maxis since Jan this year. Left only 2 numbers. MaxisGo RM48 (1GB data peak hour usage) but digi RM40 for 3GB usage all net... This post has been edited by audiocool: Apr 7 2016, 08:34 AM

look how much is our neighbor country paying for their per month usage vs against Malaysia.
They are averagely paying SGD40 and can get cheaper phone. XiaoMi Note 3 just SGD28 with the plan of around SGD40..
Will Malaysia able to do so?
We actually paying too much data for our phone and our home broadband..
