Since competitor offering is better, you have nothing to loose by porting out... if they call, bonus, if they dont call, just go over, you are loosing out for not going over..

Indeed, just port out and don't care about the special plan, they are like robbing you of RM50+ for each month you wait. I just ported to Digi, good riddance.

On side note, you can always come back if they ever offer a better plan(with no double standards).

Hopefully those porting out and offered special plan will be as principle-driven as you are, friend. Respect!

I was pissed off because when my girlfriend tried to port out, it took us about 2 weeks, failed on 3 attempts, after the first one failed, we resubmitted the request called them to double check our confirmation, each time they said it has been received but always end up failing, then they give excuses and say it may take up to 1 week to port out, damn, Digi's side only give us 24 hours to settle confirmation.

At last, we visited their and told them in the face to settle it. Then only they plug the sim card into a retro phone to send the confirmation SMS and did it on the spot. We end up losing 2 weeks of Digi paid superscription and have to pay Maxis prorated usage. So after confirming her phone has good coverage and no issue with Digi, I also ported out 1 week later.

That will be pain in the ass process, below is my recent experience.

on 16 call maxis asking them how much i need to pay so i can port out my line, as they reply rm 258 due to phone contract, agree than pay - > fail to pork out, cause now they said i have out standing credit.

0n 18 -> settle that balance 400 (i paid extra), than port out, fail again, they said i have 2 sub line under my account, in fact i have no sub line, call them again and ask they said i change my sub line to this account last month (which i never), they said they will solve it for me.

20-03 port out fail again -> call cs -> they said no problem, should be able to port out.
22-03 port out fail again -> call cs -> samething
24-03 port out fail again -> call cs -> they said i have two subline under my account, ask them when they said i change in dec 2015 (last couple day said i change in feb 2016), they said solve for me.
25-03 port out fail again -> call CS and FARK (11am) them until their manager call back -> he told me is sub line issue but they can't help cause tech support is off duty and they don't work on weekend, so have to be next monday only can solve.
take me nearly ten day all payment paid but still can't pork out.

If you had sublines before, even though terminated they are still tied to your account, have to contact them to remove.
Had the same issue with the port out fails before, I visited their service center to sort out.

problem is my subline under another account, but when i try to port out, it under the number i wanted to port out, when asked maxis CS1: he said i get this line park under it since feb, ask Maxis CS2: i have this line park under since dec 2015 .....

but what i remember abt this two subline is park under any number which i started last dec

Do you have an online account? If you log into it via maxis website, you can view all your sub lines(if any) parked under your account, they will still be there even though with "terminated" status.

Failed when tried to port out too, I contacted them, they kind of acted stupid and said those lines are already terminated, I have to tell them to "untie" the numbers from my account especially.
