Actually you have to give credit where credit is due, they were the first Telco to come up with unlimited Calls/SMS to all networks and the first telco to come up with Zerolution.

Just their pricing... Haha

It's because of the sentiments only. Investors probably worried about Maxis maintaining ARPU. Next quarter, no damages, ARPU maintained, shares will go up. Those non MOP, ports out also, won't hurt Maxis much. The MOP is like the crown jewels now.
