You were right about "muscle memory", typing some what impaired  Will use this for the time being until I can get another more suitable permanent MKB

It's definitely more space saving but the problem with the Race 2 is its non-standard keys and of course, arrangement of the F-keys. Will need some getting used to. Will likely go back to a TKL. With all 2 incidents of LED dying so quickly on my QFR-i, am seriously considering non-backlit for my next MKB. Thinking of Topre for next MKB, a CM Novatouch comes to mind

controller just read the keyboard matrix and depend on the programmed firmware,it will send the scan code theu PS/2 or USB to the computer

it depends on the firmware of the custom controller,if it's like winkeyless,you can program any key any where,and you can also program plenty of macro thru their GUI

Snip the legs off would improve the feel. For plate mount stabs, you  need to desolder the switch that is blocking. Minimum amount of lube is good enough.

Hi guys, wanna check with you all, among the mx cherry, is the blue 1 always got problem? I really like the clicky sound vut it seems like blue switches is the common with problem. May I know is the any common problem for mechabical keboards? I did some research but mostly only refers to the blie switch

Btw, cherry MX blue switch is not very ideal for gaming, at least not for me.

The new keycaps won't have the specialty symbols that the original ones have.

So what do you guys do? Memorise the specific keys? Put stickers on the new keycaps? Ignore the specialty keys? ( I am talking about the internet, media keys)

I think best brand still are Filco, Ducky, CM if you want full size and TKL. Price around RM 300-400+ for starter with Cherry MX switches.
