ahhaha, that's common, since mi practicing such marketing strategy. laugh.gif

wonder why don't they just use the preorder method.. like iphone... everyone happy.

because that is to create a HYPE... just to let ppl fight to get it...
you see iPhone now where got a lot of ppl chasing to buy coz now they prepare plenty of stock...
and also XiaoMi financial is not stucked with in-stock so they can utilize their $$$$$ on others...

depends on what ROM they want to flash, if just flash mi DEV or stable rom, no need to unclock bootloader, mi flash work perfectly.

and u can just apply for unclock bootloader from xiaomi, last time I just waited about 2 weeks time

Apple is Western Company, Xiaomi is Eastern Company.

Peeps from the west prefer to have ready stock and then cash and carry, they hate hunger sales like Xiaomi or shit invitation only like OnePlus

Peeps from east prefer to scalp/hype, therefore hunger sales works on here. You see, just like Malaysian. For example, 2 restaurants, one more packs with people, one more less people, people mindsets must be "oh, that one more people, so much be better"

Hi Guys,
Thinking of getting a SD Redmi Note 3 from China. Just worried that it won't work in Malaysia as they seem to have 2 network standards for each model.
See
2. 选择网络制式
in the xiaomi link
http://item.mi.com/buyphone/note3
I think this is the Snapdragon 650 version. Can anyone help confirm this & let me know which network to select?

Thanks

双网通 is mediatek version

全网通 is snapdragon version

in simple, the higher price that 1 is the sd ver.

With the current exchange rate, price for RN3 SD version probably like this

Basic spec (16gb + 2gb ram) = RMB 999 = RM630

High spec (32gb + 3gb ram) = RMB 1199 = RM755

However add another RM100 for both when buying thru mi malaysia website.

Saw the MTK RN3 price for 32GB 3G Ram at directd for RM899.

So yeah SD version should be higher than MTK RN3 price. So it could be RM999 or RM1099. Hoping for them to be lower though.

1. Choose Version :
Standard Edition 2GB RAM + 16GB capacity, or 高配版 3GB内存+32GB容量

2. Select network standard :

3. choose the color

Appreciate your advice.
