Hi sifu,

Got a Civic and the color is white pearl. It's coated with 3M hypershield 6 months ago. Wash it every weeks but after 2 months started to spot oxidation (black sports) on the roof and bonet. Washed many times and also used strong pressure but the oxidation still there.

I went back to the detailer shop and he said can't clay or polish as this will "remove" the glass coating  sad.gif

What can I do to "remove" those oxidation?
Thanks.

DId you do the hypershield coating at a shop? If so, it should have come with warranty, right?

Folks, I do understand some of you buy the polishing pads from Osren, other than that, any local shop in Klang Valley that you frequent or online site other than lazada?

Its getting too expensive to buy from overseas sad.gif
Thanks

After done polish, u guys re wash ur car? Or u guys using alcohol to wipe down?
*
It really depends on the product you use, if your final product is wax or sealant, it will say on its instructions, if a prep is needed.

For most of Meguiars, one dont need to prep it

Pad cant dry under sun? Normally u guys wash with warm water? Can i put my pad into washer maching anyway?

Washing machine?! shakehead.gif can...but why wanna make the machine greasy?

Hot sun basically will make the sponge rough and hard...just warm dry it...like placing it in your veranda or patio.

Order some product from Osren and received it today

The smell of the liquid wax is awesome, feel wanna drink it hehe

Their sprayer bottle and tools really cheap compare to other big brand, really affordable

Not sure how good is their wax but liquid wax is expect to be not so durable , so have to maintain with spray wax surface condition 1 - 2 week once

First thing need to do is , polish out all the swirl and scratch b4 doing anything

does the degreaser comes with conditioner or you need to apply a one after the engine cleaning?

Generally, when I multi coat with wax (especially using different product), I will take it slow...meaning, apply, let it cure, and then wash and then reapply any other top coat needed....continue the process depending the number of coat needed.

Neither way will give shining effect I think.. If cover fusso coat on top carnauba wax will waste the effect of carnauba.. If cover under carnauba to act as sealant I think Nonid too...i rather put 2 layer of my pinnacle sealant.. Or any one would give it a try 1st.. Because I really lazy to use fusso.. Nid handpower lot.. Lol
*
I think so as well. I wont use fusso and carnauba together.

I would use fusso as first coat and then any gloss on top of it after a proper cure, like on the second day.

Thanks for the info, but what they mean by "mild detergent" in Malaysia? Any suggestion for off the shelves detergent that local hypermarket sells? Eg: Dynamo, Breeze, Top or whatever that works well in this case. I do have a lot of Dynamo detergent at home but im pretty darn sure they have perfume, not too sure if any softener inside.

Last thing I want is all my mf cloth turning hard and "clogged"  doh.gif
*
easiest way just hand wash....faster than using machine tongue.gif

As for detergent, normal one without softener would do, dynamo, or soap powder.

Soak it for an hour or so, then use light brush to brush off any dirt or grease on the cloth.

Lepas tu dry aje, it dries pretty fast.

Guys, Should I put soft99 Kiwami Extreme Gloss Wax on top of Soft 99 Fusso Coat 12 Months or the other way round?
*
if you really need to apply both then, Fusso first let curing for 24 hours then apply Kiwami

This a the month 3 update of my sealants comparison.
http://carporchdetailer.blogspot.my/2017/0...est-update.html

True to most of our concerns, there are water marks on Fusso section but not on others...
*
Thanks for the review...I havent tried fusso...but was thinking might give it a try after seeing you first 2 reviews...but if its just 3 months under our weather condition, hence its pretty much whats I'm doing now..every 3-4 months, I clean it up , move hard stain and tar, polish and then wax, and maintain using quick wax every month once.

Thanks again...cheers

Where do you guys buy your Meguairs stuff?
*
There are couple of sellers here at LYN garage sales.
Lazada is another option.

Ace Hardware do carry them as well.

As you can see from my picture, those are old labeling and different packaging, bought it while I was in US smile.gif
