Thanks for your advice. Perhaps I can try airing the car under hot sun for a day.. And no, I don't use sunshades, also tried blasting de-fog but nothing changed.

It was quite deep and I could see the bare metal layer already...

Is there any DIY methods available? or perhaps would be great if someone can roughly estimate the cost of repairing.

Do you guys just buy the car cleaning products from tesco/aeon/giant/mrdiy or shops to specialized in car care products?

Are there any brands that I should avoid? Or are all of the generic brands found in supermarket fine? I searched on shopee for the brands recommended by American youtubers but they are all so expensive.

Right now I'm looking for normal car wash soup, car polish, wax, compound, something to treat the interior plastics and car seal, and tyre shine.

Sharing my detailing... Applied "Soft99 Fusso Coat 12month" wax last week. Rains quite alot at my place since I waxed it. I rinsed my car with water after I drove it in the rain.Today performed a deep wash. Quite impressed with result of Fusso Coat. Hope it last long...

I use glaco mirror coating (black color one - bought years ago) for windshield and all windows except side mirror. For side mirror I plan to use Fusso Mirror Coat Zero.

Black trim i just use normal conditioner.

I had the privilege to be given a 99.9% pure lab grade IPA many years ago and I've been using slightly less than 1:10 dilution (between 1:8 to 1:10)

Anything less it flashes way too fast and you'll get streaks/spots

I've used this product before. But it will be problem if your car is parked outdoors. After heavy rain, and hot sun comes out, the dirt can easily etch into the fusso wax layer and it's damn hard to remove. Only way to remove is to completely remove the fusso coat with cleaner wax.

I have no issue with cars parked indoor though.

Yeah but the car will look super ugly with all the dirt marks, especially evident if your car is white

I guess this wax isnt really suitable for tropical weather where heavy rain can suddenly show up, followed by super hot sun

Can the experts here giving me some advice to newbie here..... I just collected my car 2 days ago. I'm stilling thinking whether do I need to spend 2-3k on ceramic coating..... and my car actually parked in covered carpark but when it comes to heavy rain the raindrops will still splash on my car.    is the coating really can protect my paint keeping it shiny ?
