Anyone have experience buying cases from ebay before? Got kastam/tax and whatnot upon arrival?
*
No such tax on cases . Had bought batteries, chargers too from ebay n no tax too
However I understand if item is glass based n declared as such duty is payable

I bought solely because of the big discount cum extra 128gb card ( alone worth rm300+). Will pass card to my son as I had already 2 pcs of 128gb, 1pc 200gb n 2 unused 64gb
Will swap to Note6 when available

The knowyourmobile site report is inaccurate. Asian countries such as Spore n Taiwan are getting Exynos chip n so highly likely Msia will be exynos too

No hahahaha. Have you seen the temperatures on the Exynos procs? In recovery, idle temp is 73 I lol'ed. The 810 on the 6P reaches 45 max on full load while flashing.
*
That was only for the S6E - warmest phone I had used n bad battery life
The Note5 surprisingly very much cooler n even on intensive usage you don't feel the phone as hot n just slightly warm only
Anyway all reports to date had shown the exynos chip is much improved in the S7E

It's 2016 and ppl still obsessed with those benchmarks score

...........

Im done
*
I would say only gamers are interested in benchmark scores
I don't play any serious games on my phones n such doesn't matter to me at all
Infact in day to day use my LG V10 with is SD808 processor is as good if not better than my other Nexus 6P ( planning to sell off). Even my Mate 8 with its way much superior benchmarks over Nexus 6P I don't see any significant difference either except possibly some app load faster. But than the faster loading is seriously unnoticeable by most users

For now better not to have usb type c,
there are multiple case wiring is wrong, and burn the device.
We might have to QC check the cable by our self.
*
Poor cables will burn the charger NOT the phone
I had yet to read any phone being damaged
I am using Nexus 6P and had tested one incompatible cable n compatible cables too
My incompatible cable works perfectly well though
The charger one use must be at least has 2A output. Any output lower , chances of using an incompatible cable will burn the charger is higher
One can use the app checkr to check compatibility by plugging phone to PC n run the app

phonearena review says the battery life is worse than s6e
anatech review says it is better than s6e

how come both so contradicted rclxub.gif
*
S6E has one of the worst battery life amongst all the Androids I had used. In operation it heats up easily too
If S7E battery life is worser even with a bigger battery capacity Samsung can closed shop already
Anyway most reviews I read report positively on battery life. I will only trust my own assessment after using the phone

I had never believed in using any form of SP including tempered glass. So I never need to worry about buying such stuffs
The gorilla glass is strong enough to withstand scratches from stuffs in pockets such as coins or car keys. Only harder material such as diamond, sand could scratch it
In my past 8+ years using so many type of phones n tablets there is never even a hairline scratch
Only the Xperia series I used a SP as the anti shatter film is easily scratchable
I had tested SP including tempered glass but had never like it n still prefer naked screen anytime

It will still scratch, due to micro sand in pockets. I swear I had washed my pants cleanly and one of my previous phone, the Lenovo K900 with GG2 had a hairline scratch. My brother's K910 scratch badly after 2 years of naked use. Even my Z2 imos glass sp, which uses gorilla glass material also had hairline scratches.

Yes Sand will scratch. There is no way sand can get inside my pockets n I dunno how sand can get in to some guys pockets ??

Why the worry over SD n Exynos . And now camera sensor ?
If you feel cheated by Samsung just don't consider buying this phone
Personally I couldn't even be bother with such differences

Kiasu never ending.

Samsung has been using Sony and Samsung camera sensor combination for so long. They also use Snapdragon and Exynos for different region for so long.

Just like whoever getting an iPhone will always compare the yellowish tint to blue tint due to screen from different manufacturer. Now even worse, compare soc made by Samsung vs TSMC.

+1
Especially with Samsung, some fellas just cannot resist criticizing any variants of chipset or camera sensors. As you had said this has been Samsung practice for several years already
As said if one cannot accept such practice just don't consider buying the phone
I had used several Samsung models of SD, Exynos chipset n different camera sensors too n yet still happy with whatever was sold to me. Only idealist buyers want the best of everything - I had used so many type of phones including all the iphone series ( except ip5s) n seriously there is no 10/10 phone

Battery life I always feel is best left to oneself to judge. All the web review sites assess the battery life differently and the amount n type of app on phone too affect it. It is not right to form an opinion just based on web reviews. You being the user is the best reviewer
I had used so many type of Android phones n these are just some examples of my battery SOT hours. It could be different from any of you users. My usage mainly 80% on internet stuffs ( browsing, mail, facebook, tweeter, newsfeed, news sites etc) with about 100 whatsapp daily, up to 20 youtubes ( average 5-10min), some audio n a movie viewing a day, ebooks, few calls n no gaming
Personally I am happy with 5 hours SOT being minimum. If lesser phone battery must be replaceable

Mate 8 : 9-10
Mate 7 : 8-9
LG V10 : 4-5
Nexus 6P : 5-6
Note 5 : 6-7
LG G Pro 2 : 7-8
S6 edge : 4-5
One Plus Two : 4-5
Find 7 : 3-4
Nexus 6 : 4-5

celcom coverage also sucks
*
Depends on where you stay
For me Celcom is best with download speeds 20-70 Mbps
Maxis LTE still weak n 3g average 10-20 Mbps
Both Digi n UMobile no LTE at all
There is no best telco as depend on location n areas one frequent

With a 15% or 20% discount cum a free 64GB or 128 GB SDcard - it is already a good offer
Why some users are so hard to please ?? They still wish for more ?? I am not even bother about what type of SDcard is given - even a basic 64GB card is good enough for me

Some nitpicking I'd say on the S7 !
Seriously I always love the back button to be on the right - I had change my N6P, Mate8, LG V10 back button to be always on the right - is just a natural spot for me. I wonder why some users like it to be on the left !!
However reviewer MKHD still rate highly this phone despite of its "little flaws"

More nitpicks here :
