Last time about 1x/12/2006 i and 2 frz went to klcentral and hv a KTM ride to midvalley , and at the entrance after ticket machine got Celcom fair counter.....

after i n my frz pass the ticket machine , got 1 girl protomer come to us and promote us celcom postpaid. that promoter said "now celcom got a promotion , wat u do jus nid to try this postpaid promotion (minutes 500) w/o any charge and get free 500minutes free call but have to pay RM10 for registration fees"

my frz ask me to register it , and his say "oi ah **** , u try to tink la .... celcom so big company will cheat u meh ? RM10 buy 500 minutes free talking time damn worth leh" after i consider , i and my finally pay liao RM10 each ppl and register it.

about 3 days , my celcom line are active and can call/sms normally ..... we damn happy bcos RM10 buy 500 minutes talk time..... but few weeks later , celcom send a bills letter to each of us ......

WTF ? total charges RM109.02 and rebates RM40 and have to pay RM69.02 oOo

i wondering , that f*cking promoter still dare to say "try tis postpaid promotion w/o any charge"

PS. can i find lawyer/MCA shuuu tis celcom ?

Does the 500 minutes given to you in certain duration of time..bit by bit every months ? what i mean was, the 500 minutes divided by certain amount of months..

Prepaid said free airtime but then they give you in about few months..every months gives you little bit by bit.

Try calling celcom n check it out whether the promotion was a bogus or not lo.. If yes, i pity u le.

mine rm70 something ,actually that 500 minute is give slowly each month,and will deduct from bill each month

I don't think you can sue Celcom straight unless you have it all in black and white that it is free.

If it is just what you heard from the promoter, can't do much.

i belief that they give you the 'minute' slowly every months wan..so if you want, awit till they finish givign you the money then cut the line lo..i dont recall that you are bonded to be with celcom for certain amount of time.

I used celcom,digi and maxis postpaid before.. same with prepaid.haha. the prepaid, buy a few so that can get the free airtime..after finish giving me, i cut the line loose.

actually if u realli want u can sue Celcom. Consumer rights, elected spokesperson means Celcom is responsible for everything person says. So what that spokes person says is like Celcom saying. Also, not necessarily black and white. U have the bill that shows u were cheated, and a friend as proof. A promise, verbally, can be a legally binding contract as well. Consult a lawyer, i onli learn law a teensy weensy bit lol

anothing to share .my cousin was celcom user ,celcom didt post the bill to him few month,after that cut his line(b4 he pay exactly to time ,never late),after he get angry because hp important for business man(u all know right),when he go cust service counter to compain about didt receive bill and line get cut,the attitude of malay girl work there like shit ,they say they will not responsible on this ,and tell my cousin that he must come service counter to reprint the bill if didt receive it,after make my cousin more angry,talk nicely to them but they say all this shit to u,then he scold that girl until the manager also come out,after even the manager applogise to my cousin,my cousin also decide to pay the ammount that he owe and terminate his account,finally change to maxis postpaid till now

the bills don't prove anything.
the only way is to find back that promoter that gave you the promise. then work your way from there.
otherwise, everything can be pretty much hearsay.

actually the form that we fill in already write the term and condition,juz because we keeep looking that girl face and her short skirt then only we didt saw the term and condiiton,we cant do anything,

guys i have said many times aleady in my previous posts.. celcom has lots of billing issues.. the worse thing is you cannot ask for rebate easily.. need to write in and wait for months for bureacracy to get it approved.

Maxis very easy , their Customer care can give u rebate right away, and they will even honour the false promises made by their agents.. (which will later be blacklisted - so most of Maxis agents very careful)

It is very advisable for users to do some homework and make comparison before subscribing to any postpaid. The best is go direct to the branch, ask everything about the package and the bill for first month will be look alike, I am sure they will do some simple calculation just to show how your bill will come out. Don't go to 3 rd party agent in the street, firstly their explanation during the crowded will distract our mind to ask further (including peeping the short skirt), secondly, they are getting commission from customer who successfully sign-in, more than that no longer hell-in their business and any problem arise they will ask us to go to branch.
Please remember there is no 'free' in Minutes postpaid, you are paying RM50 in 'buying' those 250 minutes or RM80 for 500 minutes voice calls.

You can terminate at any Celcom branch actually. Go to one nearest to your place.
But can't just terminate i think. Have to pay back if you on contract.

I cant stop laughing when i read the "ham sap" problem. Actually not ham sap problem la. Just gotten pwned by a simple girl promoter. Anyway, you will also need to becareful with all these stuff. Nothing is free in this world. Remember. But I doubt they will cheat you so kau kau. I think when u register the RM10 for 500 minit thingy tht time, sure got form one right? Maybe the T&C write untill small small and print behind. I kena pwned many times by these also. So be careful.

I heard this is the the old postpaid plan RM30 for 100 minutes, now no longer available but the current user still can use it. Another one is supplementary plan also pay RM30 for 100 minutes. Now also no more. Supplementary package only available for powertools and family postpaid plan.

the promoter that deal with me is skinny malay boy and big indian wo.....not miniskirt girl le..

I tested celcom quite a while ago, it's services are just average and the charges are insane.

After that i cancelled my celcom number and continued my digi.

lets collect all victim info and we report 2 gether to malaysia consumer association ,make the problem bcome bigger

u'll notice that u don't have to pay anything when u register for Minutes plan(look at the payment information section).. even the RM10 connection fee..
pay later in yur 1st month bill..

i don't quite understood ur question. what i mean is with Rm30 monthly, i will get 100 min free talktime and 20 sms. more than that, i need to pay 25 cent per min and 8 cent per sms.

yes, my ac with celcom long long time ago since 010 last time. when they converted to the min plan, i choose the lowest one since my usage not much.

yes, the 100 min plan no more available now.

haih, what to do ... i also almost sign up for celcom postpaid but for several reason i dont,

1- i cant find their branch (that is the nearest to my home)
2- when i take a look later now the call charge is no longer 15sen/min to everywhere

so i thought what the heck, with maxis postpaid at least i could call maxis num for 15sen/min whilst celcom now charge 20sen/min or more to any num (there is one minutes plan that charge you 15sen/min and lower for the minutes you're paying, more than that it's up to 20sen/min)

but then celcom 3g is very wide coverage ... maxis 3g make me go unmobile because have to stay around klang valley area to enjoy that 3g ... almost change to celcom because of that, but maybe i'll just sign up data access only plan for celcom 3g.

anyway other than that i do like celcom, i like the 019 prefix ....

now celcom is the most cheapest postpaid in malaysia

maxis p75 = 15sen/min only for maxis to maxis, but for other operators = 20sen/min...

while Celcom minutes plan flat rate to all operators...

Celcom's Minutes Plan used to be a little cheaper when it was first announced.

Now they've tweaked it and it's not as cheap as before. Now can say it is on par with Maxis already.

But that only applies for 450minutes plan and above.

The 250minutes plan is still the same great plan as before for average phone users.
The 250minutes plan is cheaper than Maxis's P75 plan factoring all aspects.

afterall.. if talk a lot on the phone..
celcom minutes plan are worth to have..

but if u also spend a lots on other types of communication..
i.e. sms/data/buying ringtone&theme etc etc...
then better opt for maxis p75 lah.. or above...
