i want to ask u all, i hv tune my GPU and motherboard settings using the nTune download from the nvidia.com, i just let it to help me to tune my setting in my graphic card and motherboard, after i wait for 3 hours, ntg change also, i go for my game, and still the same experience >.<
i use the nvidia monitor(software from nvidia) to detect my CPU core and PCI-E bus speed
original MHz of CPU core: 2210.xxxMHz after overclock: 2321.277MHz
original PCI-E bus speed: 2500MHz after overclock: 2925MHz
i'm using AMD 3500+ 2.2GHz and run on 7300GS 512MB DDR2 and 1GB RAM
should i considered the changes of bus speed of CPU and PCI-E as overclock?

means now my processor is 2.3GHz? be4 i finish my tuning, the nTune boost my processor to 2.6GHz@@ and the benchmark test went unstable, then a runtime error come out, if PCI-E doesn't affect my CPU performance, then is it mean it only improve my graphic card performance?
u adjust the GHz urself or u let the PC help u adjust? my casing is powerlogic, and it has no good air flow, if i go so high i scared my motherboard will turn to ashes.
EDIT: did u change the voltage of ur motherboard and graphic card while overclocking? if hv, wat software u use? or u adjust it in the BIOS while u start windows?

if i manually overclock it, i would prefer all go max, but i know that it will burn my processor and motherboard, and i hv no moeny to fixed it, and i dont know much about the voltage adjusting, i only gt a 450W power supply, and i'm not using ASUS or ABIT motherboard, i'm using the GIGABYTE.
is it 3500+ really suitable for overclocking?

i use 2 fans, one for processor and one for exhaust, i dont know wat is true power, and how to see my PSU is true power or not? and i always leave my casing open, is it enough for cooling and air-flow? and u say that DFI and BIOSTAR r fun, wat is the means by fun?

my PSU there write 200W pure/true power, and 450W max/peak power, which one is more accurate? my PSU is POWERLOGIC one, i think if u put the temperature too low, ur motherboard wil be freeze and all the things will start to going down, or other bullsh!t possible is, outside ur motherboard is cold, but inside ur motherboard is hot, cold & hot, make ur motherboard and processor fever^^

coz the graphic card hv not much to adjust, just the GPU and 3D-core, and it only available for some graphic card only

i'm not sure i hv to go or not oh, coz i'm not a pro and i dont hv enough experience, many things about the BIOS i still dont understand, and i only hv 2 months working experience on hardware, if any things goes wrong while overclocking, then it will be no backup @@
or u teach me how to overclock lar.

then i think my graphic card should be consider as not stalble, because when i ply command & conquer: genrals zero hours when i see some kind of car, my screen will appear vertical and horizontal dark line, but when i leave that car it turns back normal, i though AMD can be overclock safety.

becareful that, boost too much will result in hang, treat ur PC's fever first lar, dont put it in cold place until u also need to wear jacket to go inside, haha

i also think like that, coz AMd is build for gamers it should be safer than intel, intel only good in cooling, but it's 2.6GHz stock speed lose to my 2.21GHz stock speed ^^

i use nvidia nTune software and i use GIGABYTE M61PM-S2, i didnt adjust the PCI-E bus speed itself, i just let the nvidia nTune to tune itself, at first it boost my processor to 2.5 then hang, and then it take it down to 2.3GHz, and yesterday be4 i sleep, i take it up to 2.4GHz, and now still works fine for me, the PCI-E bus speed seem not to be so useful.
EDIT: y after i overclock my PC, when i go to the control panel > system there, it still show me 2.21GHz although i already adjust to 2.4GHz, and one more things, is 589.980MHz very high for my kingston PC4200 DDRs 1GB RAM?

well, i'n not going to adjust my voltage, i scared i'll break the limit of my PC and produce fire inside my casing, and i also dont know much about the voltage, the basic concept i know is, voltage will produce heat.

i think the air-flow in my casing r 100% good lar, i open the side cover, and let a large fan blow the motherboard, but when i go to the event viewer, it say: Event Type: Information Event Source: Save Dump Event Category: None Event ID: 1001 Date: 12/29/2006 Time: 2:14:22 PM User: N/A Computer: USER-575C1F8DA9 Description: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.
