More on fps...cod, battlefield
*
Intel Core i5 6500 - RM 815
Gigabyte B150M-D3H (D4) - RM 403
Corsair 8GB DDR4 2133MHz Value RAM - RM 148
Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB SSD - RM 209
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 188
Tecware Alpha Black - RM 219

Total: RM 1982 (ETech price inclusive of GST)

Optional upgrade:
1. GTX960
2. R9 380

Both < 1k, you can re-use your current GPU first and only get a new one when you upgrade your monitor, most likely you can get next gen Pascal and Polaris GPU by then.

HD6950 is quite an aged GPU so don't expect it is still able to perform very well in games nod.gif

Yes, Zotac is offering 5 years warranty for their GPU products.

I think it is just an error, the specs listed on the page are wrong as well.

What's in the box:
1 x Zotac GTX 970 1 x Dual 6-pin to 8-pin PCIe adapter 1 x User Manual 1 x Driver Disc

Hello guys,

I'm building a computer used mainly for storage.
So preferably the motherboard and casing can support many HDDs (currently have 4 HDDs, might add more).
Looking to spend around RM1000.

Needless to say the budget does not need to include HDD & don't think GPU is required.
I would prefer a fast CPU if the budget permits.
Don't mind an AMD build if can get better performance for the price.

Please give your suggestions & thanks in advanced.

Usually low end (H110) mobo only got 4 SATA 3 ports due to chipset limitation, while mid tier mobo (B150 & H170) comes with 6 SATA 3 ports, if you want > 6 SATA 3 ports, then you need to look for specific Z170 mobo but this will jack up the cost.

Intel Core i3 4170 - RM 470
ASRock H97M Anniversary - RM 309
Kingston 4GB DDR3 1600MHz Value RAM - RM 80
FSP Hexa+ 400W - RM 145
CM K280 - RM 155 (Up to 7 3.5" drives)

Total: RM 1159 (ETech price inclusive of GST)

Suggested last gen platform since it is cheaper to build.

Nvidia didn't announce any new GTX GPU based on Pascal/Tesla P100 yesterday, so I guess they will do it in Computex 2016.

If you cannot wait then I think you can just settle with current gen GPU then, even after they announce new GPU, it will take some time for the GPU to reach MY.

Can't quite get what you mean.

Lose the casing = no need casing? hmm.gif

And for HDD, since you never specify the total number you need, I will just include 1 x 4TB HDD first.

Actually LED TV is cheaper than PC monitor nowadays, RM 800+ can get a 32 inch 1080p LED TV already.

I assume you have DDR4 RAM to re-use and your PSU is capable to run these parts since you didn't list out your current system specs.

Gigabyte H110M-DS2 (D4) - RM 289
