The market price for Cresta 10 is RM999. i got it while stock clearance, so the price is much lower than that. (I'm not suppose to tell here huh?)

U can also try:

PSB Alpha B1

or other speakers

as long as the speaker's sensitivity is high, the sound will be nice...for the small amp like ur S2.1D....20W per channel

hmm thanks for the leads,

yeah i do believe a ready made market monitor will be direct and fast substitute for the stock ones, pretty decent sound. but kills all the fun of DIY spirit tongue.gif

anyway, i plan to custom my own satellite, probably source a good 4" around and ribbon tweeters for wider ambiance.

rioven, did u found any significant improvement by changing the 4 diode near power circuit to the MUR860 diode?

the capacitor i got for like...RM2-RM3/pc

well if you worry about warranty issue, then i suggest you keep it stock till you have the confidence to start it someday.

our speaker expire on warranty long ago..so little mod like this wont do any harm.

1= soundcard -- i tested my fren's m3300 with xi fi extreme music.the bass is much better than pair with onboard realtek.

2=burn in -- ur speaker still new,it will sounds more sweet as time goes on.

3=watch out with ur equalizer setting -- (unlike altec lansing's speaker, with these speaker,u no nid to do setting such as full bass and treble.jus let it flat or if u wan, adjust little bit is enuff.) biggrin.gif i let- mine with EQ off

Thanks.. haha..

I was listening to the M3200 and M3300 and a few Altec Lansings at a local store.. The M3300 has tighter and clearer bass.. But the altecs has more power..

Treble wise.. feel almost all the same.. (maybe due to heavy metal demo song)

I like the design of M3200.. more classy.. and at first I thought the M3300 don't have a headphone jack (didn't know it's at the back of the remote, lol).. finally... I decided to go for M3300 for much better audio experience..

Hi,guys.I'm a fresh. I saw the picture of edifier's testing room, maybe someone is worked in edifier? I also see the product of DE006,but that product was designed before 2003,who knows the latest product of edifier on Dolby and DTS?

Added on August 20, 2008, 7:30 pmMaybe these are some diffrences between M3300 and the Altic.M3300 is designed for the computer speaker, you can choose R1900T06.It has more power than M3300,but it was 2.0 system.I'm not sure the export name for this product, but in China the name is R1900T06.
