For the previous similar WMC promos (2 rounds of campaign so far), I received cashback for all my eligible spending for every month, even those done right at the end of the month. At that time, WMC was not a very popular card (probably due to AF, which is now removed).

For this new 10% promo, I have not received the cashback for January spending yet. Based on the previous promo, it is usually paid out at the end of the next month. For example, spend in Jan, receive in late February. However, the payout date is totally random and I will usually report here when I receive the payout.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I just applied for this card, counter staff informed that 2 cards will be posted which are VI and WMC and I can choose the one I want to activate . Waste of resources I would say.

It says groceries and dining only, so I would assume not. Unless your hotel is listed under those MCC codes... Which should he very unlikely.

I called CS today. He said I have to fill up a form 'credit card upgrade form' and apply with 3 months pay slip (for salary earners)
I asked him to send the form to me.

Such a bizarre process. When I got the card (when it was first launched), there was a PDF application form which I just had to email to CS. Was very fast and easy. Don't know why they now have a special form that isn't available on the website.

Just realized this 10% cashback promo now, so the card can revive from the drawer soon...
