I don't think there's any of the big brands that makes PE chargers, been looking around for a while now, actually.

Sony doesn't use Qualcomm Quick Charge tech? Their fast charging is proprietary?

QUOTE(LightningChan @ Nov 9 2016, 01:27 PM) QUOTE(LightningChan @ Nov 9 2016, 01:46 PM) Aww.. That's just sad.. If you become my girlfriend, i will get you one for free. Oh btw, XA Ultra retail price just dropped RM200.. I just bought it a week ago.. Jokes aside, yes, understandable for those whom bought it recently. Coz i faced this situation before. Money went down to the drain. QUOTE(powerangah @ Nov 9 2016, 03:21 PM) No. Because sony uses different chipset for their phones, each chipset has their own fast charging technology. If Qualcomm, use QC. If Mediatek, use Pump Express. This post has been edited by raymondtong94: Nov 9 2016, 03:35 PM |

Coz i faced this situation before. Money went down to the drain. But then again, RM1699 with 1 year extended warranty and an overly priced thin rubber casing vs RM1499 with nothing. I think my deal was better la.. Gonna compile and post some test shots with the XA Ultra rear and front camera soon |

As a photographer of sorts, I had to do a simple review on the XA Ultra's camera.
So for a few random shots » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Macro shots (With NEX-3N shots to show what I am focusing on) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Selfie » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Overall, pretty disappointed with the camera. The resolution is there but it takes really near perfect condition to get a nice shot. Front camera however, is really nice. Pros : - Overall good color reproduction - Fair speed at taking pictures - Large screen so its easy to spot for details - Good resolution - Front camera flash and OIS helps alot - Comfortable shutter button despite being thin Cons : - Poor autofocus speed - Phase detection not fast enough in some cases - Poor macro focusing(iPhone 5 does better) - Rear camera no OIS. Pressing the shutter button fast may shake the photo - Stock camera app settings and control are quite limited even on manual mode - No custom white balance - Auto mode sucks as auto white balance is not accurate most of the time indoors - Single LED flash not powerful enough for further subjects in the dark Thanks for reading |

QUOTE(LightningChan @ Nov 9 2016, 07:05 PM) Oh well, i believe your PM inbox gonna flooded with people to ask for your number, and i might be the first. Anyway, just joking. Nice review BTW. No doubt a photographer's sight. I have a A6000 but mostly serves as my leisure camera. And reading this review made me wanna write a camera review for my Xperia XZ. |

I'm curious though on XZ's triple sensor. |

So what I did was to pull back, and then just zoom in, make sure the zoom is less than 2X. Since the X camera have 24 MP which is too much, I guess don't mind sacrificing a bit. It is not really the same with macro focus, but guess it is a workaround. |

QUOTE(kiwlm @ Nov 10 2016, 10:21 AM) I have the Xperia X, not sure whether the focusing distance is the same. Yup. Basically if your focus distance is lesser than the minimum focusing distance the lens won't focus. Stepping away and zooming in to focus is one way to do it. You can also snap the picture at your widest angle and then crop it later. Quality should still be okay if you don't crop too much since its a 20mp+ camera. Safer than zooming because photos tend to be blurry from handshake.Last week I tried to use the rear camera to snap a high res photo of a printed 3/4R picture, it just won't focus when I get too near to the photo, was trying to get it as close as possible to get better resolution. Still, very disapointed with the camera la.. haha This post has been edited by LightningChan: Nov 10 2016, 04:08 PM |
