Did anyone placed FD (3 mths n above) with Public via eFD as they offer additional 0.25% pa?

With Maybank starting their eFD campaign in 2 days time, how do they detect fresh funds electronically? Should I just transfer out then transfer back in to consider as fresh funds or..? Anyone have experience in this from other banks for eFD?

They can collect the cheques from your house, deliver FD cert back to your house. They offer to send the gold coins, golf club, gifts etc to my house also. I probably would decline that. 

If you are busy, that may be good for you.

In UOB to place new FD, 12 mth 4.3%. Was advised not to split the FD into multiple certs. UOB allowed termination of FD with blocks of 1k without affecting remainder sum. So stayed with 1 cert. Actually forgot about this as was told before on this. Fast, done within 5 minutes. 

The 4.3% promo will end on 31/5, min 10k fresh fund.

I see on this, but since like others says this is not guaranteed, I only put 1 month.
By keeping the current promotional eFD aside(since ends today), 4% a month are still ok. I think 1 month the lost won't be that big if they were unable to give 4%.
I take it this way : 4% of eFD from GIA are still better than normal eFD rate.
