just called MBB regarding their e-FD campaign on fresh funds. Apparently, even money in MBB Savings Acc are considered fresh funds as long as it is not withdrawn from existing MBB FD. 
Not sure how they trace. I uplifted my existing e-fd. And place again. They rate did show the yellow icon there. ..and ya, I did adjust the fund become 10k.
