For the Maybank GiA, is it as long I have a maybank2u account I can deposit my saving into GiA directly online without going to the counter?
I've just applied a saving account at maybank for this purpose. |

I've just deposited with Maybank GIA-i.
Just wondering, since that they calculate the profit by daily basis (and profit is given monthly), no penalty for early withdrawal, then what's the purpose of the tenure? I mean I can just set 60 months and then withdraw at any time right? |

QUOTE(MGM @ Apr 18 2016, 08:37 AM) If already has a M2U account, can I open a GIA-i account online, or must I open the account at a MBB branch? QUOTE(cybpsych @ Apr 18 2016, 08:48 AM) QUOTE(cybpsych @ Apr 18 2016, 07:11 PM) no le, the account creation is done online too. usually takes 2 days for the placement to show in m2u. I did my GIA at maybank2u, the cert directly appear without delay.subsequent placement, will be immediate to the same acct number (gia-i) if u place a conventional efd, another acct is will be created. |

For board rate FD, if let's say period achieved, bank will auto renew at latest board rate right? If let's say I withdraw few weeks later, these few weeks got pro rated interest? Or only half?
