My family has one 40 inch. Picture quality is ok bt the speaker really noisy and blur not clear like other brand
If u just wanna use it fr gaming should be okay.. If u prefer nice speaker sound should go with other brand

Guys, I went to giant last night and saw hisense 50" model 50d36pn model. Really interested, but upon tinkering with the display set it appears that the picture control settings are too simplistic. I cant even adjust the gamma, backlight and white balance of the tv. Or is it because the input signal isnt HD?

For gamma control tweak etc...better get those more expensive ones. Hisense is just for simple plug n play usage i think

I bought Hisense 40" LED Full HD TV - HMLED40K20P for 899.00 via Lazada in July 2014 and also bought Hisense 50" LED TV - HMLED50K360 for RM 1,650.00 via Lazada too in Jan 2015 . Both has no issues , can play movies with thumb drive and also the 40 inch has 2 HDMI port and the 50 inch has 3 HDMI port . The color is good on this TV`s . I would say its value for money . I would recommend it to anyone .

Hisense tv getting cheaper but I'm still not convinced. However, no denial the price and specs offered was quite tempting.

I've rented a house and the living room here is using hisense lcd TV. It's bigger than 40" is all I could say. Picture quality is excellent. Sound not sure coz using ht. I'll ask my roommate once they're awake to know about the age and price of the TV. My next TV could very well be hisense.

Guys I am also new and looking to buy a LED TV. Just confuse if get low end 4k or get excellent Full HD.
After reading a lot I found out that, if you really want a 4k TV only buy one with the below 2 items: 1. TRUE refresh rate 120Hz at least (not true motion, PMI, etc numbers) 2. Full array local dimming (FALD) or at least Direct LED backlight. Avoid edge lit ones unless it has a good review because some edge-lit can be equal to FALD and DLED backlight quality.
IF hisense cam guarantee 120Hz and DLED then it is very good buy. Also pay extra for added warranty will be worth it.
