Is this because you sideload the app? I havent sideload any apps but I have used Mibox3 for quite some time. Those sideloaded apps aka non Android TV certified app wont show unless you installed a custom launcher.

I noticed most hypermarkets were displaying this China made brand quite some time. I know it's generally meant for the lower to middle class income people but the price of their product were pretty decent compared to the reputable brands in the market.  nod.gif

I have never tried using this brand before. I saw some attractive prices online such as below  unsure.gif

http://www.gemfive.com/media/catalog/produ...58k220p-(1).jpg
Hisense 58" SMART LED TV - 58K220P
RM 2,499.00

Hisense 55" 3D Smart TV LED55K390
RM 2,599.00

Hisense 65" 3D Smart TV LED65K600

Anyone tried before? Your view?  unsure.gif

- Owned one las time (32 inch). I bought this so i could plug my laptop (extend my screen using the VGA to VGA cable connection) or plug my external hard disk on the USB port at the back of the TV to watch my movies. Notice that sometimes, it hangs after a few hours of watching movies from my external drive and very hard to fast forward as well the movie scenes. Then there are times, there were movies that the TV cannot produce sound and will give you an error or "movie sound not supported" (so it is like watching no sound movie but the movie clip is running without sound). Then lately, sometimes, he cannot detect the USB External Drive Hard Disk Drive at all when you tried to access it. Also if you tried to "PREVIEW" first the movie before running it, it lags very slow and sometimes it hangs. Tried this movie openings on my external drives on some other brands like Sony Android TV and Samsung Smart TV, I never encounter any issue of hanging, lagging and any movie I open, all open up. So i guess china brand TV is only good for sometimes but after a few years, it will show their wear and tear compared to branded good brands like Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, LG and Sharp. I know it is cheap but now having an experience buyer of HiSense, i prefer the branded ones now that any china branded TVs.

Play a content on YouTube, then press upward you'll see a 3 dot, press it and move to extreme right for the stats..

Check manual for buttons on remote (Display/Info or similar) or maybe in picture setting.

Hi, has anyone had any issue connecting unifi TV box to your hisense TV? I'm trying to connect mine, but it seems to lose connection right after the unifi TV box is switched on. I've tried plugging it back into another Samsung TV and it seems fine, so am wondering if there's some setting I need to change on the TV or unifi TV box.
I've connected a PS4 and soundbar to the hisense TV and they work fine.
My TV is the 55B7100UW by the way. Hope someone can help.

Not a hardcore video quality person and I have only used it for a few hours. First impression is good. Watched HD movie and football, didn't see anything bad about it. It's clear and nice. One thing is well need to adjust the picture setting after it if box cause it is very bright. Navigating around the Android OS is smooth and no lag. One thing I don't like is the controller. Feel that it is fragile. Sound is also great compared to my old TV.

Price wise is RM1663 from Harvey Norman. 3 year warranty.

Trying this after my LG TV broke down after 5 years usage.
