Got myself the 65A7400F. Noticed artifacts during dark scenes. Not sure if it's codec compression issue or input signal issue. Still trying to find out root cause.

On YouTube had many good quality clips for testing your screen. This post has been edited by stasio: Sep 4 2020, 09:14 PM

On YouTube had many good quality clips for testing your screen. Astro is most noticeable, 2nd is Netflix on certain titles. Sorry no pic atm. There's no specific setting to on/off MEMC or maybe it's under motion enhancement 'smooth' or 'clear' option? YouTube 4k HDR looks good maybe because it's 60fps? FYI, connected to router by cat5e cable on unifi 300mbps.

Netflix premium Wired cat5e cable to WiFi 6 router, definitely better than WiFi. This post has been edited by alvinddm: Sep 4 2020, 10:34 PM

Still trying to find out root cause. You called it artifact? I think its the black insertion aka memc. I just call it judder since I think that's what seems. Usually involved unpredictable movement like hair being blown, crazy matrix like move... I just tried the same scene with my old 50" plasma and it doesnt suffer as much.

Mine is Backlight 100 Picture mode standard Contrast 52 Brightness 47 Colour 50 Tint 0 Sharpness 10 Low blue light off Colour temperature high Motion enhancement standard Noise reduction medium Digital noise reduction medium Active contrast medium Colour space auto I kept the backlight at stock 50 (some profile set at 55). Reduced brightness to 47. Personally I don't like it too bright. I don't even see any difference between 50 backlight to 100 backlight except when viewing hdr content on YouTube. I had color temp as mid-low. I do bias to Red2 instead. Today I tried watching 1080p baseball anime and found the artifacts to be very bad. I even tried sport mode. Not sure if the culprit is my 10 years old pc and gpu which isn't doing a good job decoding.
